Higher levels be nice share your goods!

Hello everyone!

At first, I need to tell you that my English is not good enough, but I really want to write this.
I notice that some of the higher levels players don't share (sale/trade) their products, and I respect the way that they growing their farms, BUT they need our help to water their trees and bushes, to complete their boat deliveries, and to sale bacon and eggs! So, you should help us putting on sale apples, cherries, diary products...something more useful than bacon and eggs!
I'm at level 31 and all the time try to put on sale diary products, juices, ice creams, cakes, sugar, etc. I never put bacon & eggs!

Yep I hate how people add so many bacon and eggs.

I don't really bother with selling cherries and apples eggs and milk to be honest but I do sell everything else that can be made, ice cream, jam cakes pies and juices etc for others

Stocking up my shop before I go to bed - Currently I need the money to buy Jam Maker. So I ignore all my orders and boat delivery and concentrate on selling in my shop. Offering good variety of items. Hope it helps someone out.

What do you consider a higher level player ?
I am at level 40 now, but it is almost impossible for me to sell dairy products. I have my dairy plant producing all the time when I can, but I can just keep up with all the dairy I need for cakes, ice creams which I do sell.

I wish I could, but honestly, ice cream and other products like jam and juice just takes way too long to make and every time I do make them, I use them for truck orders. The best I ever get to selling is Carrot Juice, which people do buy often. If I'm not missing milk, I'm missing white sugar. If not white sugar, I'm missing cream. :mad:

Hello! I not consider that I am in a higher level. I understand that we cannot sell a lot of dairy products and most of all at your level, but when I'm visiting another farms just looking for apples or popcorn is sadly to see some farms full of trees and the only things that they sell are bacon and eggs. My point is that everybody should help each other with products more useful than bacon and eggs.

In my case I don't need a lot of sugar or ice cream. I know that other players need it thats why when I can always put on sale that kind of products. My point is that everybody should help each other with products usefully. I visited farms looking apples and some of then have a lot of apples trees but they don't sell apples and were asking help to load their boat with sugar and ice cream. :)

Haha LOL. No I am not saying that you are high level or a low level player. I am at 40 and don't consider myself a high lever player yet. But I remember when I was just over 30 I thought people at lvl 40+ were high level players.. :)
Almost the same thing as getting older in real life.

I make a point of selling relatively cheap produce often. I grow crops just to sell. I also sell silo expansion items (usually full price), as well as discounted sweaters, hats, popcorns, breads, and some pies. But it is really hard for me to sell much of anything else. I am constantly making and using all other products. I do help fill boats as much as possible, but I sometimes need help, too. I think (and hope) that we're all doing the best we can to balance meeting our own needs with helping our neighbors to meet theirs.

I don't like to categorize. If I am a high level player that doesn't share my goods then so be it. Sometimes I hoard things, I impulse buy, and I always sell at max. You could put me in a negative category but, we are all human. Just as a low level player may buy goods and send 18 cream on a truck. We all play differently and thats what makes it a great game. I have given up leveling up and sending my own boats to fill others. Just a game but, reading some threads makes you wonder why so many people think that they are owed something. Crazy

I've been only playing a short time - but from what I can see - as you level up through the game your requirements change. What you need at a lower level isn't what you need at a higher level.
My best advise is to buddy up with someone that is at an opposite stage to what you are and work together as a team. Help one another out. EG. One person needing barn and silo expansions with someone who is expanding land. Works perfectly together and you both get what you want.

Yep, the key is to have a variety of nbrs, high and low level, to get a good range of products in nbrs shops.
If a high level player is making and selling loads of bacon and eggs, they will be doing so to make money. This comes at a cost for them though, nbrs may delete them! Just as in real life if a business doesn't have competitive pricing or a good variety of stock, it may struggle to get customers. This is what free trade is all about!

I agree with both Carenasc and Tinkerbell.

It is good to team up with someone who has other needs than you at a certain point. I managed to fully expand my farm within a couple of weeks with the help of just a couple of friends. The trick is to choose a priority at a certain point in the game and go for that thing. Don't try to do everything at once. Unless your barn is 1000+ you can't hold on to silo supplies + barn supplies + land items + mining equipment + saws & axes + the food you need to store and so on.

For example, a couple of weeks ago I chose to fully focuss on land expansion and traded all building materials for it. While I got some lands expanded other friend got a couple op barn or silo upgrades.

Also Tinkerbell raised a good point. Sometimes it is just like a real life economy. Business that sell stuff that no one wants to buy will soon go bankrupt. As this isn't a possibilty in the game it does affect the number of good friends and followers. If you have a set of good friends and followers it is much easier finding stuff you need or making more gold. A good set of friends also means having friends in lots of different levels, high and low.
