Lol. This thread seems familiar......
My apologizes, as I wasn't aware of that. Basically, nothing will ever be done to fix this situation. Since many people have sister clans or a family of clans there just isn't any easy solution to this problem too many variables and not enough care. The problem is there is no accountability for malicious behavior and without it then it will continue to exist. We are just beating a dead horse now guys. Move on and deal with it.

Good Job:thumbsup:
There are a ton of ways to fight it and they are proven effective by the guys that do them.
This thread and others like it are all focused on how to do something after the problem has happened. They are only thinking of how to punish someone. And you are correct that none of that will wrk or at least not without also punishing guys that don't deserve it.
I would urge all that are having this problem to start working to prevent the problem from happening in the first place. Iceageg has given a lit of ways. I have my own rather long blurb that speaks to them in detail if I am asked to post it here. (but with iceageg's here already I am not sure it is needed)
Speaking for myself, I have not had a guy leave during war in a very long time. I have had guys tell me I suck and my clan sucks because I question their numbers or clan war timer and want to take precautions. They decide to show me how much I could trust them to stay by leaving..........well alrighty then.
No worries. It is not a well documented policy but with some searching you can find their replies in older threads. As far as punishing malicious behavior, in this case I personally don't want SC to do anything about it just so I can. Using some of the suggested tips in this thread malicious hoppers are very easy to spot and LOTS OF FUN to boot before they get what they want. My co-leaders and I consider it a game to see who can keep their boot tips the most shiny by applying them to the south facing end of these north facing jack-arses.
Just empower your co-leaders to do the same and "hoppers" can be smack-a-mole style a mini-game while you wait for your troops to build. Close clan for war and don't let new members participate in their first war. You get to recruit, your clan members see you protecting them from parasites, you still get to war . . . problem solved. Plus your boots are shiny, which is always nice. Remember, they are not a fit for your clan/your clan is not a good fit for them. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT rude to boot them. It is rude to give them the impression that they are welcome. Sort of like lying. Booting them quickly is doing them a favor and your clan a favor. There are lots of clans that cater to hoppers so they can still find places to join and leave easily.
