What irks me about filling Boat crates

When I visit a Farm, I will always see what crates need to be filled and will help if I can...But when I see that the player has 3 crates marked for 'Help' and NONE of the other crates have been filled yet......I am hesitant to help.

When I get a Boat order, I will fill all of my crates that I can and then if I need help with any, I will then mark the crates as Help Needed. I filled a couple of crates yesterday on someones order. This morning the boat is still there, the crates I filled are still there and NONE of the other crates have been touched with only 30 minutes till the Boat departs! I will not help this person out again.

I also prefer to fill crates when boat owner also does the same, but, after all, helping others with their boat requests only counts against YOU boat leaderboard score, YOUR achievement list, YOUR cash and xp, and contents of YOUR barn.

Before I started to collect dogs and cats (meaning before I had felt need in vouchers), I used to dock every boat and open crates for friends even if I didn't have any desire to fulfill that particular party. I did it for my friends and followers who were probably in need fot those points, scores, and achievements. Now, if I see that I won't complete the boat, I cast it off, as I'm in rush after vouchers.

However, when my friends and followers ask for something ordinary, I fill it immediately. When they ask for jam, or sugar, or any Dairy produce, I only fill those crates when other crates are filled. I want to give scarce resources only when I see friend's dedication to complete that boat indeed.

So, again take it easy and just play. Don't waste scarce resources, waste all the rest with a light heart, and enjoy cooperation! :)

Okay, I know, relax and enjoy the game. But what about when you see a boat requesting help with all 3 dairy or sugar? Can't they even try to fill one of those crates? Make your own sugar and cream people, or send the boat away!

On another note, requesting help with easy crates is a neighborly thing to do, because it lets people get helper points (whatever they're really called) as well as gift card opportunities.

It improves your boat score, it helps you reach the Co-op achievement, and you get coins and XP. I'm not sure why it would matter if they attempted to finish the order.


I certainly don't look back at every boat I help with to see if the order was finished.

You answer your question :) Some players just don't care about their boats, but open crates for random friends.

In fact, if I'm not able to complete the boat immediately upon its arrival, but intend to load it sooner or later, I always open 3 crates for collaboration. Of course, I try to fill as much as possible to demonstrate my will to complete the batch. Either I or other players will do it.

Requesting help with easy (or difficult, doesn't matter) crates will not take your points or voucher. Despite wasting time on impossible boats (3 dairy/sugar mill orders, that's outstanding!), there's absolutely no reason not to open for cooperation as many crates as possible, whatever their designation is. Irritating? That's mankind, babe:)

Could be a language issue, I ain't a native English speaker. I ment that everything you do with other crates, affects only your figures. And affects positively, absolutely! Sorry for unintentional confusion.
