What to buy first..... (help from high lvls)

Hey Hay Day lovers! I have a question for any experienced players. I am almost lvl 28 at the time I'm posting this. I currently can purchase the fishing area, juice press, 2nd smelter, and almost neighborhood, and by 'currently can purchase' I mean it's able to be purchased but I don't have the money. So what should I do? Buy the neighborhood when I get to lvl 29, or save up to buy a 2nd smelter, fishing area, or juice press? And then if I do choose to save up money, which one should I buy first? You also get the ice cream maker at lvl 29 so then what? PLEASE HELP!!!!!:saywhat::saywhat:

I personally bought the fishing area first, then the juice press, then when I was high enough and had enough coins the ice cream maker although remember you also have your neighbourhood house to develop at level 29 too. I bought my second smelter at the bigger break between machines and didnt buy my jewellery stand until I had finished buying main production machines as its not a necessity. Im now level 86 😊

Thanks for your help! I would like to see what other people are saying too though. I would also like to obtain some hints as to how to get coins really easily, but my problem might be I spend to much coins on decorations :). Thanks again though, Mummysmith2012!

I bought juice then fishing area. Did not buy more smelters until i had extra coin.

Neighbourhood came in a later update, at which time i had lots of coin.

You will have extra coin in the future. Enjoy the game. At lower levels it was more fun. This derby is going to bring back that fun for higher levels i hope

Definitely not second smelter or neighbourhood. They are less necessary than the other options. I think I would go with the juice press first, then fishing area, then neighbourhood and only then a second smelter. :)

And stop focussing on leveling up for a while, if you are doing that. Make things and then sell them. This way you will gain more coins more quickly without leveling up too quickly.

I can't remember what order I did them in, but I would do juice press before fishing. at your level making coin is the most important and you can get nice coins from making juice and selling it. the fishing is ok but you will need to factor in getting enough expansion materials to open up enough fishing spots to make enough fish to make products to sell. yes you do get a few diamonds from catching fish and updating your fishing book, but trying to locate and hold enough expansion items in your barn can be difficult. Once you get into a neighbourhood your neighbours will be able to help with expansion items making it easier to open up the fishing spots.

Definitely have all makers you qualify for before opening town. Townies eat you out of house and home, and the pay is not as much as you'd get if sold thru your stand.

Best money making tip: sell thru your rrs unless there is an event that gives double or triple pay.

I loaded someone else's boat today with product, losing 1/2 the price it would have gotten in rss.

Also, filling boats and trucks and visitors often gives little pay while leveling you up. That is how you wind up currently able to buy things but with no money to buy them. Ask me how I know. :smirk: Made the same mistake myself.

edit to add: completely disagree with fishing advice. fish products make top dollar in rss. fish area can be fished again in a couple of hours. Fish products are EXCELLENT money makers and raw fish is rarely found i ads, making those products unavailable to you.

You know how real estate is all about "location location location" ?

HayDay is "production production production". And figuring out how to manage that production schedule :-)

The boat, trucks, visitors, and town are not production. At your level you want coins (and your question confirms this). The most coins come from selling in your shop. The other places to sell, not so much.

The fishing boat takes you to the fishing holes, where you can fish. It *is* production. Without the that you have to buy fish.

I'm not sure where the NH fits in that spectrum, I've never thought about it until your question. It certainly isn't production. However, it is a social aspect to the game that many people very much like. Depending on the neighborhood, your neighbors may be very happy buying products from you at max price. Certainly that would be welcome in my neighborhood.

Juice>Fish>NH>Icecream
NH house is cheap at 10k coins.

BTW sell your LEM to make coins. You don't need land at the moment.
