War clans that use offensive language in clan description

How does everyone one feel about war clans that taunt there opposition with obscene clan discription and base lay out? The last four clan wars we've have all done this! On the second war a couple of our young ones changed there base layout in retaliation. When we realised what they done we made it quiet clear if they want to do that ♥♥♥♥ there in the wrong clan. When it came to war time other teams bases all change back and off to war BUT 5 of our youngsters couldn't change back as they had been banned!!! Is this a common trick that war clans are now doing?? As soon as we see it now we report it makes a nice easy war

It doesnt bother me how others choose to play the game, maybe your over sensitive.

2 years ago, there was no option to report people. No option to mute people on global. No in game communication with supercell. And the game ran smoothly.
People just have to toughen up a bit. Understandable if its a very offensive clan description, but people using reporting as a tactic is just sad IMO.

If SC wasn't flooded with reports of every thing someone found to be offended by then they could probably concentrate on helping those who actually have issues with their accounts.

Just keep it clean and no one need worry about either (a) causing offence or (b) being banned and potentially costing your clannies the war. It really isn't hard.

I don't mind it much, cause I'm in clan where everyone is 16+

It wouldn't of bothered me so much if the other team hadn't reported us and got us banned! I just figured it may be a tactic a lot of clans are using now you know the saying once bitten twice shy I don't want to take any chances

Reporting, banning, warning etc. all incredibly childish. The last time I "tattle tailed" on someone I was 7. Of course a lot of these COC players are tiny little children. But if you're an adult, just suck it up and deal with it.

I would just say ignore them and laugh it off. Use your troops to do the talking for you and 3 star those immature clashers :thumbsup:

It's amazing at how little it takes to offend people these days, especially in a war game about killing and pillaging other people's cities. Maybe if this was Hello Kitty Island Adventures I could understand those complaints but this isn't. I'm enjoy some good trash talking but I've been afraid of putting it up and risk getting my clan a few day ban as we've seen happen before. This war I thanked the other clan for free xp to get us to level 3 and they went of on some tirade in their clan description.

Simple rule - don't ever retaliate, just report and hope that they have a disadvantage in war as a result.

I have a small issue with the low threshold for a temp ban given the effect that the temp bans have on war, but on balance agree that it's probably a much fairer way of patrolling what is and isn't acceptable to ban anyone obviously pushing the boundary. Make an obscene base layout? Ban. Abuse the other team in clan descript? Ban the leaders. As soon as you start asking mods to allow a little inter clan taunting or apply the rules with a little more nuance, you'll get a lot more inconsistency in the decision making. At least this way the rules are applied pretty consistently - but you've still got to go through the process (screenshot and report) to make it happen.

I've got a pretty thick skin so something like that wouldn't bother me. Besides, offensive base layouts aren't good defensive base layouts, so that would be an easy 3* for us.

Your best bet is probably calling the wambulance

The people who report others are the lowest of the low.

I enjoy reporting people.

What they do, actually doesn't offend me. I find it funny!
I just think getting them banned is funnier!

Weak clans report player s to get the upper hand , don t be weak let your troops do the talking ,

Having innocently fallen prey to one of these reports (luckily I wasn't a co-leader and wasn't banned but too many in my clan were) I do sympathise. This is increasingly frequent and is now in the category of dirty tricks that are being played along with spying, semi-defenceless bases and upgrades started during prep to be available during attacks and cancelled before next war search to obtain benefit in war.
Don't fall for it guys, taunt them if you have to after war result is safe in your favour not when it is in the balance.

I think most people have miss understood my point!!!! I don't care about the whole clan abusing us point! We don't do it and don't allow it. The first guys we couldn't care less about!! It was just the trickery of the next clan. When our guys did it back they reported us! I was more wondering if people had experienced the same setup before

Don't worry about it.. Report them by beating them in war and show them no mercy! Like someone said in the comments above there wasn't any chat reports way back when and it was fine but now everyone uses that button like they pray to God. Just learn to ignore it and you'll be fine
