Th8 attacking Th9 assistance requested!

I have level 3 hogs, level 4 minions, all Tier 1-3 maxed for TH8 except for pekkas (2). valks & golems are level 1.
Zap, rage, & heal all level 5. bK is level 10. This is my mirror base.

I have access to max th9 level researched troops (max loons and hogs, level2 witches, etc) for my 25 space cc.

Looking for a 3 star strategy to take down this base. gowipe or Drags could probably get two, but I'd like three.

His xbow is level1,2 ad's at 4, & 2 at level 5, all in the core with mortars. No room for dgb's in the core but not sure level three's would have the endurance or how to avoud the DGB spots. his BK is only level 1 and his defenses are not maxed.

All constructive feedback appreciated, as detailed as possible would be great (deployment points, army comp, spells,etc).

honestly you probably don't even need the hogs and can replace them with more giants; up to you

i recommend using hogs though to take out the x-bow

That video was not helpful. You attacked one th9 with a mortar under construction, no cc, and used your AQ for the third star. You were also using troops far beyond the capacity of a th8. The other two attacks were you, a fairly developed th9, beating up on two rushed th8's.

I appreciate the reply, but the strategy does not translate well to the base I am attacking.

best chance to get 3stars on that base is gowipe, gowiwi or 10 maxed dragon with maxed baloons in CC (2 rage 1heal)
about attack strategy u can look on youtube. there r many th8 attack on th9 like that, u can watch and learn :D good luck. i doubt all hogs can 3 stars that one because that th9 might set 2 double giant boom on left and right side of that base

Thanks for the feedback, but I did go mass hogs and grabbed three stars.
Had a th4 with a spare attack do a mini-scouting mision for me, and found three teslas & identified the cc (all wizards). Knowing where those were (& thus no DBG's there) gave me the confidence to hog it.

Insanely easy lure with a single barb to pop the cc and an archer anchor point around 3 o' clock.
Dropped a spread of 3 more archers, unleashed my cc (level2 witches x2 + a level six archer) and a wizard for kill squad.

That worked perfectly (credit to the Hulk Files and Reddit Troopers for that technique) and one of the witches stayed up the entire raid.

Deployed hogs from the top in 4 groups, 2 more groups at lower sides, and one small group of three to kill the mortar at the very bottom.
