Hi! i have space to download the update but it will not install. I tried to update in the App Store over 2 hrs. ago & in the store it says "installing", however the little HayDay icon on my device just says "waiting". It won't do anything, I can't even delete the app & redownload altogether. I tried restarting my iPod 2 or 3 times but it just won't install. What do I do?!
It is still just saying waiting & I have no clue how I can update or delete or do ANYTHING. PLEASE HELP?Quote:

Tried to install new update several times on iPad Air and nothing would happen. Seems like it just got stuck - would not install after several hours of waiting each time I tried. Tried turning iPad off and back on a couple times and this did not help. Finally deleted game from iPad and tried to re-install and still having same problem. Can not install game from App Store onto iPad Air!
I am having similar problem - can not install game/update onto iPad.
I posted a similar thread and have not received help in fixing the issue.
Have you received help or found a solution to the problem?
Does anyone know how I can get help with this problem?

Hi! I'm sorry to hear that! It's frustrating indeed. I have yet to get any help, & it's still stuck on "waiting" after almost 24 hours here soon. I hope they respond to this thread & help us out!

Can anyone help, please?! I am still stuck on "waiting" & cannot update! It has been 2 days nearly & the money spent on diamonds & Tom has been WASTED which I do not appreciate. I can't delete the app to retry either. I've restarted my device with no change. I have enough space but nothing. HELLO? I need some assistance, PLEASE!!! Is there a better way to contact support? It is still stuck "waiting" to install & I need to know how to remedy this or if it can't be fixed or just something. Do I have to wait until the next update to install or...??? Same device. Ever since derby update game gets stuck on updating and never opens.

I tried posting to the link in the last reply but it must be mod approved before getting posted to the thread? Hopefully I'll get some help. I also posted in a thread specifically for this issue started by Nick but it looks like no one has replied with any help in that thread even since it was started.

Hello again! On the off chance that a mod or support person is on, just letting you know that I am still stuck on "updating" & am unable to delete the game or reinstall. I would still very much appreciate any help from someone at Supercell etc. Please help if you can, I have no idea how to fix this!

Unfortunately the problem you experienced is related to iOS and your iPod. I find this on the internet where several ways to solve this, I hope at least one of them work for you:

If not, please tell us more about your device (iOS ersion, device model, type of connection, what did you try...) and I'll see if I can find more info about it.

Thank you Meonhoc! I appreciate the effort very much! i have tried everything but hooking my iPod into a pc, as I don't have access to one atm. I also don't have access to any other network to try. I tried rebooting bunches of times, signing in/out of the APP Store etc. I can't get anything to work.
1. Device model APPLE iPOD TOUCH 4G
2. Operating system (version if possible) iOS 6.1.6
3. The country in which you are USA
4. Your internet service provider (if you are trying to use WiFi at home) COMCAST
5. Your mobile service provider HOME INTERNET
6. Tried Wifi (yes/no) YES
7. Tried 3G/4G (yes/no) NO
8. Have the latest version of Hay Day installed (yes/no) NO, 1.22.141 or 1.22.133. It was the update that INSTALLED the winter theme. I did not install the update that removed it. Second before last version was installed.
9. For how long did you wait (app open, and stuck at "Updating..") until you quit the app? ABOUT 6 DAYS!!! I can't actually open the app. The icon on my device screen just says "updating", as if it's still trying to install the derby update. I can't delete or open Hay Day.
i just really miss my farm & have missed Easter etc. :( I hope there's another update soon so maybe it will resolve itself? I appreciate your help! Thanks for trying :)

Hi again! Single tapping won't pause the download even, though I'm not sure why! I can't pause so I can't try this tip. Thanks again for the effort though!!! I have my fingers crossed that it will somehow fix itself when the next update arrives. I am hoping that it'll be soon. Otherwise, it looks like I just won't get to play anymore :/
