So I just got Golems and plan to attack for war. I have 200 Troop Space, Level 1 Golems (obviously), Level 1 Pekkas, Level 5 Wizards, Level 5 Barbs (for luring), Level 6 King, and Level 4 Wallbreakers. Any good troop layouts? Help is appreciated, thank you!
No no no no no no. A TH8 gowix is a 2-star strategy. You DON'T want to use it for war unless you face TH7's or weak weak TH8's.
Practice all you want, but in matchmaking please. We don't want to make your teammates be mad at you now will we?:p

Yeah I would level up Pekka first, or at least carry a strong one in your CC.
Use drag-rage if their air def are rushed
I would never consider touching gowipe until golem is 2, pecka 3, and wizard 5.

Haven't seen your choices of opponents nor this super-rused TH9, so it's hard to say. Main issue with gowix at TH8 is they move to slow. Walls, buildings etc. all require additional amount of time compared to higher lvls and time is working against you.. The real killer is the CC lure though. You HAVE to lure CC out when attacking with lvl 1 golems or they die in a split second.Quote:
