The Slime is a unit (Not sure elixir or de yet) that will actually increase in strength the longer it is in combat, making the slime effective as a support unit at the start, to the lead unit by the end of an attack. The slime will attack the nearest structure much like the barbarian and archer, but has a 2x damage against troops, which make him highly effective against/with clan castles. This unit, however, is weak against fire, so having an inferno tower is ideal against these. When the slime is dropped into battle, its damage will slowly increase every second it is in combat (The amount per second varies on the slimes level) until it reaches a certain point where it can no longer grow any stronger (This prevents the slime from being too powerful). This unit mixes well with heavy defense units such as Golems and Giants, as they can defend the slime until it reaches its maximum potential. Here are some stats:
