I agree.. we do not accept anyone who people have not talked to in global... HOWEVER some people see a person in global and request to join all on their own without talking in global.. these people get REJECTED for fear of being a spy. where they could have been a great asset otherwise.

I don't think you closed the case, bud.

there are quite a few dumb suggestions in this area of the forum. I don't feel this falls anywhere near a "rematch war" button case...

This is apparently a place to suggest anything and get input from everybody, stop trying to close my case :(

You're asking for a normal part of war to be done with because you don't like it so yes it falls right down there with those suggestions. Spies and war go hand in hand, even sabotage. Its WAR, don't like it go play hayday

Even clan is closed you can invite people in..

actually the suggestion by the OP is quite good that will not have any side effect towards other aspect of the game (just the war spectator cannot see traps and teslas, that's all)

but actually i just don't care, since my clan has impenetrable defense for spy.

we recruit only people we know in real life, friend, friend's friend, friend's siblings, sibling;s friends, etc. with only that, you will have absolutely no spies, and we are currently at 30+ members of all know each other in real life and has our own chat group in LINE (all of us are in one city)

why don't you just do the same?

I agree, spying is a little cowardly, and should not happen. Win and win fairly. If a member is not in the war, though, I feel that they should definitely be able to donate still. They might have decent troops that the clan needs or wants.
A solution for not being able to see or scout the bases, would not be to allow those that are labeled "new" members. If members have been there awhile, then obviously they aren't from the other clan, but if you still want to recruit, then still recruit, those new members just won't be able to scout any bases.

All is fair in love and in war.....plain and simple. You may not like it, but it falls within the rules of the game. Close your clan before war, open it after. You can still recruit if you want to, you just have to invite people to get them in. Leave the system as it is. And yes, I put goblins in my war cc, ever seen 5 goblins tear an AQ apart, goblins do not group very easy on defense and tear apart the initial draw out troops, especially at higher levels.

The problem with this idea is it would prevent spying. I don't like spying as something I would do myself, I think is a waste of time. But I do like to take advantages of guys trying it by showing them the wrong thing and then watching them mess up later. And I would definitely want to be able to donate as a spectator too. We have guys come over from the feeder for exactly that purpose.

Clans that don't want to be spied on have plenty of ways to prevent it. If they lack the will to d those things that's on them, not the spies.

So please drop this idea and any others that would prevent guys from spying.

I like the idea of making traps/cc visible only to active participants.

The only downside mentioned is for people outside of the war to be included in discussions about base design. If they are that interested in a base you could always set your normal base to the same so they can see it.

On the upside you can recruit, have people join anytime without any fear that you will give away all your war bases. Our clan has had people request during war that looked like very promising candidates. They got turned down because they could be spies.
