Just upgraded my town hall to level 8. ( A little too early.. I went against my better judgement and what I tell everyone - Should have had all of my buildings / defenses upgraded to max level before upgrading town hall, but oh well..) What do you guys think is best to research first? I have level 4 Archers, Barbs & Wizards. Should I go for level 5 or get level 2 dragons?

Upgrade troops you use.
If you use giant-healer upgrade giants then healers. If you use BAM or BARCH upgarde Archers then Barbarians then minions. Don't upgrade the most expensive or the cheapest.
I say archers and giants
Wizards Or archers
Farming: barbs and arch. Goblins if you use them.
war: dragons, wizards, wallbreakers, and maybe giants.
overall, you're a th8 that just got there. Really get your barbs and arch to lv5 then upgrade whatever you use so you can farm quickly.

Now im spending all of my money on upgrades that should have been done a long time ago.
There's really not much difference between level 1 and level 2 dragons, so I would concentrate on other stuff first. Archers are the obvious choice if you do alot of barching. Wizards get a large bump from level 4 to level 5, and are pretty much maxed at level 5, so you can't go wrong with that upgrade. My first upgrade was balloons, because I love balloons and level 5 balloons are very nice, and are much better than level 4 balloons.

You should start on your army buildings first IMO, helpful for wars.
Start by upgrading camps (if still needed to get 200/200), and also upgrade the laboratory!
Build all new defenses and traps that take little to no time with gold, and start researching, teslas, and obviously the clan castle.
WHAT YOU SHOULD UPGRADE FIRST (LAB):
Personally, I do Barch, then war troops, but whatever troops YOU use the MOST are the ones you should upgrade.
Upgrade walls between defenses as well, so you won't have lots of builders sleeping at the end of your journey :p.
