Is It Worth Doing Lavas At Townhall 9?

As the title says, I'm maxing TH9. I have 4 elixir and 13 gold upgrades left, not counting traps or walls. I plan on finishing my current lego grind, and see how high I can get my heroes before that's done (definitely 15, maybe 20). I wanted to ask some more experienced townhall 10's, is it worth doing lavas? The fact that they cost three times as much as legos has kinda put me off, and I think it's worth rushing a bit to get the extra spell, the infernos, and the extra army camp space. however, as my main farming targets right now are TH8 and TH9, I would be losing half of my loot pool, making it harder to do lavas as a townhall 10.

if u plan to do zaps , u should do lavas at th9. loot is better there.

Of course its worth... Doing them at th9 is a huge advantage since the gold per hour is less at th10 and that is what matters when you are doing walls...

Do them! if you have the patience that is. I finished all legos and like 15 lavas as a TH 9 and wish i had taken the time to do them as a TH9. You should be able to finish them in a couple months if you push for it. As a TH 10 i have barelly even touched walls because everything is so expensive/loot isn't nearly what it is as a TH 9.

IMO sleeping builder is not a problem. Anyway if you go to TH10 you will have sleeping builders but walls and heroes.

IMO only full storages are a problem. If you have walls to dump gold,elixir and heroes to dump DE just stay and max them.

I didn't regret having sleeping builders and a dead lab in TH9 just to finish Lava walls.

Ofc, they look so good.

I'm actually considering to just stop upgrading my walls when they are lvl 10.

I just hate the look of zaps on TH10, not that I'm even close to that tho:smirk:

Perfectly put. Since you still have a ton of work to do on your heroes there is no reason to go to TH10 at all. You have a place to put gold, elixir, and dark elixir so there is no need to rush. If you find yourself with every building done, every trap done, all lab work done, and level 30 heroes only then would I consider moving to TH10 without finishing your lavas (though for me farming lavas with level 30 heroes is the best part of the wall grind).

I would actually say if you do find yourself in this situation simply start adding DE troops to your farming army. As long as you can spend the DE faster than you can make it you won't be wasting any resources by having a full DE storage. If you barch like I do then simply add valks to your army once you have no other use for DE (they are basically just super barbarians so they work well with barch). You could add minions instead (as many people do) but then you have to worry about all the flying defenses and traps and that changes the strategy.
