I think this would get out of control really easily, i.e. people will constantly be asking for gold (or elixir) every day. Think about that one person who requests troops more than everybody else...

Okidokie, thanks both for responding. Maybe (this is an effort for it not to be ruled out) there could be a weekly or monthly limit as to how often someone could request gold/elixir. Maybe the clan leader could set the limit, making it more fair for the whole clan.
