I am sure this has been said. But I feel the 69 previous war wins my clan has achieved deserve some retro active clan xp. I am sure I am not the only clan that feels this way. Even if just the win bonus for each win prior to clan xp being implemented. Just a thought.
Why should it be applied retroactively? You didn't lose anything now that a new war benefit has been added and you got what you wanted when you warred earlier too or else you wouldn't have warred. There'll be too much benefit for currently established clans with this perk system and this will make it harder for new clans to succeed
I know what what you mean. But it is likely too problematic to do. If XP was given just for past wins, then more people would rant "what about XP for <other thing>" and make things worse. :(
Starting fresh with a new system is about the best we can expect. Besides, they have to make sure the system is balanced. Having clans start several levels ahead of everyone else would really complicate things. :saywhat:Harder to succeed? You make it sound like the older clans will muscle out the newer ones. No, I'm talking about succeeding as in being active, having good loyal members, growing, etc. In a few months, all the good players who are searching for a clan will not likely go to new clans when they can find a lv 2-4 clan that offers them tangible benefits. That'll leave the new clans with new players who'll be more likely to hop in the future than they do currently. Even farmers who don't care about war would find much more benefit in joining a lv3 farming clan with refunds than a clan that hasn't had much wars to gain levelsQuote:

People have complained about there being too many clans, and this could be a limiting factor of new clans, and get people to face the fact that everyone can't be a leader of a clan.
If someone joins a clan, just to be a leech, especially with the new perks being offered, they tend to be kicked. Supercell wants people to be in good quality, active, clans, and having fun with others. A clan without perks just hasn't proven itself yet to being a stable and fun clan... yet. Granted, it is bribery, and not quite the best way to go about it, but it might be better than it has been before.
Still doesn't change how it'll be harder for new clans to do well. It's also not hard to roughly estimate how fast clan levels will grow too. Plus a sudden retroactive increase in clan levels will definitely cause big damage to new clans since there's many clans with many wins already. Anyways, the main point of the my post was to ask why war exp should be applied retroactively.Quote:
