Loot isn't bad... Obtaining it is.
There. I said it. Its not bad when you spend countless hours pressing next. Its random as heck. Its tedious. Its monotonous... and for the average clasher at TH10, its a job or you're going nowhere.
I've been spending a lot more time playing clash lately. I'm a TH10 and I rushed it considerably compared to most "maxers" on these forums...
But... I RAID A LOT.. Like a WHOLE lot... Well over 200 attacks won this season and I purely go for collector raids.
Sometimes I feel as if I'm playing a slot machine. I go through 5 skips and find a good base, and then the next raid I skip over 200 out of frustration thinking, "MAYBE the next one will be good".. Often regretting that I didn't take something a lot lower but still profitable when I had the chance.
But when its all said and done, I find that it tends to even out if you keep going long enough.

The problem being, who really wants to push the skip button that many times? Is that fun to anyone? I find myself playing like a zombie instead of enjoying the game. Either I barch and make a good profit by endlessly nexting, or I balloonian and wait forever and still find myself skipping quite a bit.
Maybe the loot isn't bad, but to make the game more enjoyable, we need a change. I'm not whining, I know how to get the loot... I just don't like the inconsistency from day to day(or raid by rad) on whether I'll have to skip 50 or 150+ times to find something worth looting.
Possible changes?
- Collector totals and speed need to be increased across the board.
- The price to boost all collectors should be lowered if done in bulk.
- Skipping costs need to be lowered.
- Removal of dead bases needs tweaking.(I have an account that hadn't been attacked for 2 months when I logged onto it)
- Loot bonus is fine. Could use some higher amounts in lower leagues.
What do you all want? What do you all think?

If you raid storages you are taking a more expensive army and spells, which is deleting more elixir & dark elixir out of the game to create the stronger troops & spells.
You are also setting off the victims traps, costing them even more resource deleting even more out of the game.
Neither of those happen if you pick off uncollected loot with a cheap army...
Another way SuperCell can help loot is reduce re-arm costs, they are terribly overpriced.

Not only would this make trophies relevant again, it might encourage people back into leagues where they belong as there will be more loot the higher up you go (both from your mines and the clash economy will be better higher up)
It only makes sense that investing more time and resources into building your army should give you a higher return. Instead waiting a mere 20 minutes for a cheap barch army seems to be the most profitable way to play. Maybe this idea would fix that. The game will also be less of a grind.
My gold grabs 975 million so i'm not saying theres a loot problem because there isn't. The idea that spending less on your army gives you a better return isnt something I entirely agree with.
