should i max all of my spells and troops before i upgrade my th

i know that max the base before upgarde the th is prefer, but should i also max all of my spells and troops before upgrading th as well.

There is way more research in this game. Because, you only get 1 Lab and 5 builders. Upgrade what you use. And move on. Until TH 8 then start maxing.

It depends. I myself am a TH7. I am not even going to get my Dark Barracks built until my BK is at least Level 10. Therefore, I will not be upgarding every troop before I upgrade my town hall.

I disagree with most posts here, I think you should absolutely max everything each town hall. I respect those who disagree, and it's perfectly fine people play the game different ways, no worries! But here are my thoughts:

Many people skip crucial parts of each TH and end up not learning to use its troops.

• An example is TH6, the giant-healer-wizard combo is important for later on, when needing to funnel troops to the center.
• The giant-balloon combo, getting airdef with giants, then balloon raiding, is pretty useful later for balloon variants of th9 attacks.
• TH7-TH8 are so dragon-focused in war, and the widespread use of the "mindless barcher" (half barbs, half archers, no wbs)... people don't learn the skill attacks as much. So the time spent maxing everything in the lab helps gain skills, meanwhile better troops helps attacks be more effective.

People who "upgrade only what they use" -- they can't be trusted to know what to use at the early TH levels.

• How many TH9's have you seen with strong troops but level 1 balloons? (I've seen a lot.) They say "I don't use balloons they ****." Well, yeah your level 1 balloons really do. But max balloons really don't.
• Many people don't have level 3 lightning, the point when 3 of them take out up to level 6 air defenses. Pretty critical for TH7s, it makes dragon attacks extremely high percentage 3-stars.
• A lot of people never upgrade goblins. In my opinion, these people frequently have low DE grabs until TH9-TH10 when they can use muscle for DE. A TH7-TH8 can use gobs as a huge source of DE income. Many people who gemmed to TH9-TH10 have high DE grabs, but partly because they gemmed max barchers, max giants, max wizards, etc. TH7-TH8 doesn't have that luxury.
• The previous poster isn't getting *any* dark troops until BK level 10... sorry but I think this is a mistake. I recently started using 6 hogs in raids to get DE, optionally if the base needs it, and it cuts through a lot of tough bases to the central DE if needed. Amazing boost to the DE loot. It helped me get BK level 10, then valks and golems to level 2 as TH8.
• It takes too long to upgrade dark troops, 6,8,10+ days per troop per level, you've got to be doing them along the way or you'll be a TH9 with level 1 hogs, and spend most of your time catching up, and not attacking like a TH9.

Lastly, let's be honest, most people who skip upgrades are talking about TH5 and TH6. How long do those take? A TH5 can get level 4 lightning, and doing so means one fewer upgrade to do at TH6. Max it out the sooner the better, as soon as you've fully maxed your TH, you'll be loving it from then on.

Incidentally, my opinion holds the same for collectors and mines. The sooned maxed, the better. Level 10 collectors and mines at TH5 is nicely OP. :)

Fair points. Being a Balloon lover, I have considered using BAM, but I thought getting DE troops would slow down my king process. If you say it works for you, then I might try it.

you will waste too much resources If you sit on full elixir and DE storage in Th7 and Th8.

If you are active farmer and want to have lvl11 walls and lvl40 heroes at the soonest time you should rush.

builders-need upgrade are same for maxer and rusher but they are super easy.

i estimate I waste 100M elixir and 150K DE in Th7 and TH8 because of full storages.

I rushed to TH9 and now im very happy and successful.

Upgrade every troops and spells before you upgrade TH. It would be good for you when you reach later THs (8 and beyond).

It depends. At least max troops ans spells that you use most before upgrade.
