New clan wars variation: Clan HQ
I was just sitting at work today, when this brilliant idea hit me:
What if supercell added a new variant of clan wars, where instead of warring against several individual bases, you war against one collective mega base, the headquarters of your clan persay.
This mega base would feature all of the walls, heros and defenses of your top X clanmates (not sure how many bases would be a balanced amount). Utility buildings such as lab, storages, collectors, etc I am unsure of, but I believe it is best to include the storages for sure. Only 1 town hall would be used, but it would be called the headquarters and would feature a modified HP level, possibly scaling off of your clan's level. The leader gets to arrange the HQ, it can be reused for multiple wars of course.
Now, in war this is when this idea becomes the most interesting. Each clan will put up X attackers to take on the enemys HQ. Attacks will be made one at a time. After each attack, the HQ will NOT regenerate. it is the collective goal of your clan to take out as much of their HQ as possible.
This adds a whole new depth of strategy to clan wars, for example you will have the guy with max level hogs assigned to use an entire attack to take out one core air defense, just so the next attacker can take out other key defenses with a laloonion attack.
As far as how many bases you use vs how many attackers, my hope is that the HQ's would be nearly impossible to 100%, so that victory can be decided by highest percentage, with the HQ building awarding a bonus percentage without worrying about constant "ties" because of this, I believe this idea requires more bases than attackers. I hAve no base comparison to say how many more.
