The economy is ALREADY BALANCED. No need for further tweaking.
Someone said in the forums on the thread like that. They made it for higher level wall to upgrade for elixir. It aint without a reason.
Elixir upgradation for walls was introduced for a week or a mnth mayb then taken off.if not for all it shud b included in short phases to give a boost to low lvl players....
When I was at th 8, where the economy issue was the worst during the elixir walls, I could not find hardly any raids with much elixer. I believe sc made the right call in changing it to level 8 and up walls only for elixer upgrades. Just use your gold on your walls and save your elixer for your lab upgrades.
Well it will a boost for players if can b introduced ocassionally.
I have two accounts, one is TH 9 and one is TH 6, walls are not a problem for my TH 6 they are all maxed and didnt take long (about 3 days of raiding for a few hrs). at TH 9 my walls are a bit behind, the 500k gold per wall is really hard to afford when you have so many, its litterally hundreds of millions to get your walls all to the gold elixer point which is really rough but like the rest of the game its a matter of just having the time and grind to do it. think its ok tho I wouldnt mind if they either reduce the cost of skulls or made them elixer of gold again.
So occasionally we should break the economy so high level players can't play, just so low level players can finish their walls a little faster? I.e., a change that allows low level players to become high level players faster, so they can be miserable when they get there? I don't think you've thought this through all the way...
Don't get me wrong: I totally understand how helpful it would be to upgrade walls with elixir. I mean, you'd practically never have to worry about managing your resources.
The cost of walls exceeds the cost of defensive upgrades at every TH level (except TH1, technically). That's a huge amount of gold at any TH level (relative to the other costs at that TH level). Also, that huge cost is broken up into relatively small chunks, making it easy to dump any excess gold (i.e., gold you're not saving for non-wall upgrade).
If you made walls available for purchase with elixir, you could dump either elixir or gold at will, meaning you'd never have to farm specifically for gold or for elixir, because if you get more than you need of one or the other, it would just go into walls. You wouldn't have to worry about staggering gold upgrades and elixir upgrades to keep your resources in balance. If you want to do all your gold upgrades first, and all your elixir upgrades last, or vice versa, you could, because you'd never build up "excess" of either resource.
So yeah, it'd be the ultimate "Easy Button". I get it. It would be great.
Personally, I think this would make the game less challenging, and hence less fun. (To be honest, I was looking forward to the challenge of maxing TH7 without a drill, but they released the drill at TH7 while I was upgrading to TH7. I'm doing it on my alt account, just for the challenge, but it feels cheapened nonetheless.)
And anyway, it broke the economy severely before, and I don't see it being a good thing, not even in short "events".
