Banned for offensive village layout

just under 24 hours ago I was using my troll base and switched it to my regular village. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning with a message saying you have been banned for offensive village layout. The layout was of a ♥♥♥♥ and I am not very embarrassed and sorry that I offended someone probably from the enemy clan in the clan war we had just started. I would like to know if I'm temporarily banned or permanently banned which I'm hoping it's only temporary. I sent a mail to support so I will past it below but please help me figure this out.

Hello my name is Alek and I have been playing clash of clans daily for about a year and have spent close to 100$ on gems. I tried to play the game recently today and got a message that said you have been banned for a base design, and I didnt know where to go so I came here. I know my base design was bad and wrong so I switched it last night before I logged off and went to sleep. I guess one of the players in the enemy clan in the clan war took a picture and sent it to you. I am very sorry and would like a second chance. Well I'm not sure about the numbers but I think if it's your first offense it probably isn't permanent.

I always find it funny that people in general are always SOOOOO SORRY after the fact. You hear it on TV everyday. "I am so sorry for killing your dog" or "I didn't mean to smoke crack and kill that family". Why do people do stupid stuff and think that a simple SORRY is going to get you out of trouble. IMO Every action has a reaction so don't do stupid stuff. If you wouldn't have been thinking like a 12 yr old boy, you wouldn't be banned right now. Plain and simple. They need to even be harsher, like a week ban. I think people realize that the ban is only two day so they still do stupid stuff.

in this day in age, people act without thinking through the repercussions. it's just how it is. but i think you're exaggerating a bit. it's not like OP actually physically or emotionally harmed someone. the person who reported him was butthurt and wanted to watch the world burn

Banned for offensive layout

I am guilty of putting up a decoy base. I am currently banned. I have put close to 2700 dollars into this game. Due to my negligence of terms of service all in fun posted a war decoy base flipping the bird. I know now it was wrong, and I hope not to loose my account. Tomorrow will be 48 hours since the ban started. In all of my searching, I hear that a ban can last that long, but have not seen any ever say they got their account back. I am a co lead in multiple clans, and have told people what to expect if they post images as I did. I have sent multiple emails to clash of clans support with no response. Any offical advise would be great. Thanks.

Dude doesn't even know if his ban is permanent or not, and here you are supposing that increasing a ban time to be more than two days is an effective deterrent.

There's nothing wrong with decoy bases. In fact they are a great strategic option. Just don't make it obvious or vulgar and you will be fine. If this is your first offense, the ban is temporary and will be lifted when it ends (generally 24-48 hours). Best of luck to you.

This first ban I got. I am Spinksclown98 in Champ league with maxed completely except walls. I am always in English global chat goofin with everyone helping lower players, given thoughts and feelings, which most champs don't do cause they sit on a peddle stool n too cool for most 😝. We ran into a Christian clan (which do not take me wrong I AM A CHRISTIAN), and my pre war base was a gag cause i am personally a goofball. I played Professional Paintball, retired, with the Carnival Clowns in the NPPL and meant no harm by it. Now my wife has an account, which, like a Clown I joined their Clan 😝. Chatted, donated, and hung out with them for a few all Boogeychill. They told me their clan was gonna send over an Evangalist cause we need God. I played along, but things changed. I asked to bring over my second account they asked good it was and they were excited until I told its was SpinksClown98. My clan HNF is made up of Christians, Hindus, Budahists, Islams, and Athiests. Some of our clan was offended by their Clan Motto n Some their members names. The clan that turned me in is linked to "Jesus is Risen" XRISTOS Kingdom. My pre war base said "Kiss My Clown ***" which honestly in retaliation to the offense and uprise of our clan members n offense that it caused. I believe in TEAM and yes I support mine 100%. Was it childish for me to react that way? With a degree in psychology that I have obtain... Thats trivial. I think n believe that yes the game should be free of X rated stuff but also Religion, Political, and Establishment affiliations and promotions. Few weeks ago I personally encountered an individual ( not saying names) that was Pro ISIS in global. Sensitivity is a must, but every situation is different based on many factors. I will wait out my ban, but Clans that promote Religion, Ethinticity, and Political affiliation must get a handle on it and not promote others to act out. I will delete that pre war base and never cross that line again, but I will for sure use my rights with in the game to ensure others in my clan are not offended in any shape or form. Radicals either way cause a rift that takes it outside a game and to a church pew or political stage. COC is a blast! Let's keep it that way.

Probably it's a temp ban for 24-48 hr.
make sure to remove this base layout immediately even if it's not being used.
don't do something offensive again coz you next time it might be permenant.

I am not sorry to a certain extent. I got banned and my leader just got delayed ban. Heres why! We are clan that it is made up of Christians, Athiests, Muslims, Jews(my wife), and Hindus. Now, in retaliation to XRISTOS KINGDOM(tied to JESUS IS RISEN clan) we had several bans based on retaliation to our personal thoughts and feelings based on their clan mottos. Now mind you, I am a Christian so no offense taken by Da Clown. In respect of fellow clan members, i also showed support. Clans are families made up of members, which I fully understand the philosphy being a Psych major, retired Pro Paintball player of team. Now the debate, Can one clan in fringe or violate the rights of another based on religion, personal perception, or in fact impose on another? Read disclosure. You want to preach Christianity do it at church! I am a Christian, but never violate others. PLEASE COC TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION IN BANNING. No, is it right to retaliate. But, let's look at the true reason in retaliation. Will i post a negative base in support of team members again?! Nope, but I expect fairness, respect, and everything alotted to other Clashers. Like bots say, CLASH ON!

I have reported others. Thankfully have only had to do so twice in over a year of play. I don't like offensive messages, neither do the youth who play in the clan. Two times it bordered on "hate speech". Not explaining that here. But it doesn't give anyone a "leg up" in wars, as it hasn't been acted upon quickly enough to keep that player out of the war, which is what should happen. Then perhaps clan leaders would act more quickly themselves, too, to prevent that nonsense from affecting the whole clan.

Hello, if you got banned for offensive base layout, that means that someone took a screenshot of your base and reported it to SC. Having an offensive word made with your walls or symbol are usually what get people into trouble.

tnx for update but i think there must be some one who decided what is offensive and what is not.and simple warning is enough to notice.no one answer the email there is auto reply email is send to anyone.that is low.

Well, anything that would be inappropriate for a 13 year old kid is considered offensive. Consider the 2-days ban as a warning because repetitive offensive behavior can lead in a more extensive and eventually a permanent ban.
