Banned for offensive village layout

just under 24 hours ago I was using my troll base and switched it to my regular village. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning with a message saying you have been banned for offensive village layout. The layout was of a ♥♥♥♥ and I am not very embarrassed and sorry that I offended someone probably from the enemy clan in the clan war we had just started. I would like to know if I'm temporarily banned or permanently banned which I'm hoping it's only temporary. I sent a mail to support so I will past it below but please help me figure this out.

Hello my name is Alek and I have been playing clash of clans daily for about a year and have spent close to 100$ on gems. I tried to play the game recently today and got a message that said you have been banned for a base design, and I didnt know where to go so I came here. I know my base design was bad and wrong so I switched it last night before I logged off and went to sleep. I guess one of the players in the enemy clan in the clan war took a picture and sent it to you. I am very sorry and would like a second chance. I understand if I cannot get that, but if I could I would never be the same. Thanks for your time. My game name is FLAMES_RISING and my clan tag is #p92u2ypr my gamecenter name is adfrovik. Well I'm not sure about the numbers but I think if it's your first offense it probably isn't permanent.

First offense is usually 24-48 hours. Best to wait it out.

Accidentally said not very embarrassed but I am

I always find it funny that people in general are always SOOOOO SORRY after the fact. You hear it on TV everyday. "I am so sorry for killing your dog" or "I didn't mean to smoke crack and kill that family". Why do people do stupid stuff and think that a simple SORRY is going to get you out of trouble. IMO Every action has a reaction so don't do stupid stuff. If you wouldn't have been thinking like a 12 yr old boy, you wouldn't be banned right now. Plain and simple. They need to even be harsher, like a week ban. I think people realize that the ban is only two day so they still do stupid stuff.

From forum rules: "You may not discuss publicly any (disciplinary) actions taken by staff, moderators or support such as banning, closing forum threads, deleting forum posts / threads etc. This also includes posting publicly any private messages / emails you have received from either staff, moderators or support."

That's one way to win war. Just report others and hope they get banned....

If you are dumb enough to have an offensive layout, you deserve to lose the war.
