Best idea from the fake sneak peak - Use hero in war while upgrading

I just wanted to throw this idea out here from the fake sneak peaks.

I was super excited about being able to use your hero while it is upgrading in the clan wars. This could be done by making heros just something you have to attack with in clan war regardless of if they are building or healing.

I was really excited for this feature when the fake sneak peak had it listed. I hope Supercell will put it in.

but the can't implement it due to coding technicalities

They should reverse it and not allow heroes to be used in wars at all :eek:

I wonder how hard is it to have a 'dummy hero' in the sense that we're not using our own heroes in the war attack. SC said something about healing issues, but if the hero that goes into the war is independent of the hero the players generally have, it might help with that

Coding technicalities? Did they explain this somewhere, I'm confused. I totally support this idea, and I'm positive they can fix it if they wanted to.

Yeah there was a SC post on one of the threads that suggested this. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. You can create an incredibly complex game, but can't figure out how to get the coding right so that you can use a hero in a war while its upgrading. Seems like it can't be much harder than getting the archer towers or any other defense to work while it's upgrading..

this should be a thing, i mean you raid alot so i would like to have it available

its funny ppl say it will be easy to code and they know nothing about coding i see things on TV that seems easy but they r not

Ok, I am experienced in programming, I get that some things are hard. I wasn't saying it was easy, just possible and worth it.
