A way to stomp out Loot Wars?

The premise of these Loot Wars to work out (for the farming clans that participate in clan wars) is that they give you the easy win if you take out the townhalls of #1 and #2 so they can snipe them with minimal resources wasted.

How about, if we, as war clans, all choose not to give them the easy snipes and force them to work for it? I'm hoping this will lead to these farming clans to barch top bases for the 50% loot and soon realize that the loot is no longer as good as when you could easily snipe and give up parcitipating in clan wars.

Basically, do not take your townhalls outside of your base and instead make it hard to be barched against farming clans!

you should add a third option:

3. i will pretend to agree to a loot war, but will have my top 2 bases change at the last minute to their normal defensive layouts.

i think this "trickery" (or fair play, depending on your perspective) will do more to discourage loot wars than simply not agreeing to them.

We've been at war nonstop since the beginning, and have only come up against one true "farm war" clan (clan description offering the win in exchange for our top two town halls). There was a little debate in the clan about what we should do, but after visiting them, we decided to play along. They were true to their word, but it was a boring and frustrating 48 hours (some members made one true attack to help guarantee the victory, whereas a handful of others looted twice, which angered some members). There is not much to be gained in terms of experience/practice attacking bases that don't have defensive CC troops loaded in, so it really just feels like a waste of time. The other team had a serious advantage on paper, and would likely have given us a real run for our money had they just given it their all.

I'm not sure what we'll do when/if we face another "farm war" clan. I would be happy to see them all go away, but I'm sure the number of teams that agree to their terms will always outnumber the teams that tell them to shove it and fight as usual.

If they're in it for the loot, there is nothing you can do.

You don't agree. Fine. They barch if they can (which is not hard, and not resources consuming, by the way). Or they just wait 2 days and start another war. No big deal.

Nothing would stop them click search button every 2 days and to see if they can snipe something.

Any way to stop them gets my vote.
I find war farmers the bane of clan wars, I virtually only play to war these days, so the thought of wasting 2 days really irks me.

the point is that the resources spent on barching will cut in to their net profit.

also, you have to consider the fact that some of their members will FAIL at even barching for the 50%. which will also add to the frustration that these farming clans will face, which will further help our cause!

First, the clan levels take away some of the incentive for loot wars. The serious side would still want to hit every base and get enough stars to get all the xp bonuses.

Second, who cares if people loot war? Does it hurt your feelings? They aren't playing the game the way you feel it should be played? So what, it is a game and they are enjoying it. Lighten up.

We faced one, they had 0 wins and we played along. Was a good break from the constant war and costly donations those of us at the top.

Facing a war farming clan isn't really a "break" considering that a high % of wars for serious war clans are jokes anyway. It's not like they face other serious clans one after another and are constantly in nail-biting, stressful wars and the occassional loot war allows them to relax. And who cares about free loot? I honestly couldn't care less about war loot, the only thing I even look at it for is to judge and compare the bases upgrade strengths. War is for the fun of competition, not loot.

Dont forget that by also protecting your storages they'll miss out on another 70-100k of each resource per attack, since they usually request to put storages out too. If anyone ever tries to war farm against me, I'll make my warbase as anti barch as possible.

You get the most points from starring every base and getting at least 60% stars. The winning clan gets 50 clan experience bonus.

It's the best of both worlds.
