Lost 54 trophies from one attack

Picked up my phone after football to a message that I had been raided. Opened up to check the damage...I lost 54 trophies from one attack!!
He has a level 9 TH, I'm level 8 and his base was leagues above mine!!

Sounds like a revenge attack. And for you to lose 54 cups you must have had way more cups than him. But yeah this happens every so often.

After pushing to Masters I once got attacked there and lost 68 trophies. My attacker was apparently from Gold III.

Revenge attacks lead to a loss of too many trophies, if your attacker is much lower than you in trophies. That's pretty obvious!

Wow, you must be SO knowledgable. Funny that people who are horrible at the game say the same thing.

Trophies aren't meaningless, the whole point of the game is to GET trophies. The only reason you're looking for loot is to upgrade things to get MORE trophies.

I didn't know a lower league can still attack and get that much trophies from a revenge! Was your TH on the outside? I'm guessing yes since you're in master !.

Definately was a revenge. Oh and also trophies doesn't matter too much. It's only for looks. The base is what really counts.

Do you have any screenshots? I heard the max was 59.

Well, one possibility that could have happened is, just like YOU, your Revenger decided to Trophy push. When you saw his profile after the attack he was already way higher than you because first He is a Th9 thus, having more potential to push his trophies, anyways, trophies are regainable. It doesnt mean much, well atleast for me 😂😂

I do this all the time. I go to crystal league with my town hall outside my castle for a day or two. The. Go down to silver one and revenge them all and get 59 trophies a pop.
