war status reset after war

the new war status in the profile is great, but in a numerous clan like ours it would be important to be able (for chiefs) to change the war status of clan members in their profile, not only when you are starting a war (that is momentary and only related to the incoming war). we are Always in war, and people who do not want to partecipate to the next one often forget to shift from green to red... as a result, we often have people in war who will not attack... we would like to manually reset to red EVERY CLAN MEMBER after a war is finished, so that only people that will explicitly shift to green will partecipate... the risk in this case is for people who wanted to be in the next war and forgot to shift to green, but i would prefer this risk vs the other, which produces unbalanced clan wars...

We have the same problem with some members in the clan I'm in. In my opinion a manual resetting option is not so useful. How about setting everyone to red after the war? Or only the players who didn't attack twice?

Hm I think someone who is willing to fight in the next war and has the time to do so will also find an opportunity to opt in.

I am totally against this. It seems like your problem comes from your clan members, if they cannot just switch their status to I'm out then just punish them if they won't attack in the war; kick+invite them and if they will do it again then just kick them out of the clan. I think SC did enough regarding this issue by adding the In/Out feature.

Now why wouldn't I want your idea to be implemented? Simply because it would man anybody who wants to participate will have to get in the game after a war finished to switch their status just to participate into the war; well no thanks. Sometimes I cannot get in the game at those certain moments and that is why I left my profile as available, so I wouldn't have to worry about being online at that time.

my clan is global and has people from all over the world. if the flag was set to "out" after every war, it could take a full day before everyone got on to flip their flag to "in" so that we could declare. it's unduly burdensome and unnecessary. if you know you're going to miss the next war, the onus is on you to opt out.
