are level 2 valks/golems necessary for TH9?

Walls complete at level 76?? Woah... upgrade your townhall dude. you must be really active, you have no gold dump and your sitting on full elixir AND gold at th 8 which is really bad and your wasting a lot of loot, regardless of level of def and troops (at least farming troops done) go to th 9!

btw valks suck dont upgrade them, and as for golems do them at th 9.. way too hard to save up that amount at th 8. and you can always opt out of war if you dont want your wanted war troops upgraded yet at th 9

Do Golems, forget Valk unless you use them or desperately want to max lab before you upgrade

I'd do the golems to 4 because then you can gowiwi/wipe/wiwipe and those are the most powerful ground armies in most situations. Valks are usable but hard to master so do those if you have time.

If everything else is done I wouldn't put off a TH9 upgrade to do the research but not doing the golem to lvl2 at TH8 was my biggest regret. Research upgrades at TH9 start at 10 days. So after a month of doing barbs, giants, and archers I finally got to do my first golem upgrade. Needed to do witches next to take some stress of my clanmates for donates. (ran low on DE and had to through a heal upgrade in the middle to keep the lab running) So two months in before Golem can go to level 3. Get the first upgrade out of the way in TH8 if you can.

Do golems at Th8 and do Valks too. Valks are great defensive troops. By TH8 you should be starting to use GoWiPe. Once you get to TH9 getting Golems to level 3 will improve your attacks in wars once TH9.

Ive finished golem 4 and valk 5 as a th9. Both are absolutely worth it.

Upgrade Golums whilst the TH Upgrades, don't worry about Valks
The Golums will help you in war as everything becomes much less dragon focused.

I am TH9 with level 3 golem and level one valkyrie. I upgraded my golem to level 2 while my townhall was upgrading from TH8 > TH9..But I still use (my level one) valkyries on certain base. See the point?

I'm nearly maxed TH9 defense wise. I still have level 1 valks and golems. I don't do ground raids very often obviously. It hasn't been a problem.

my suggestion is a bit different upgrade your heroes as much as you can, switch to lava loons at th9, and do golem when you need a high level golem just request it in your cc one max golem and one lv 1 golem does the same thin just look at some video golem are mostly what are let to die at last they hit a wall and keep hitting it
