Recording and editing tools?

So I've been watching a lot of videos online lately and really would like to create some of my own. A lot of what I've been seeing is the display potentially being mirrored to a laptop and then people drawing over things like scouted bases and doing live attacks, etc. What tools can make this happen? I'm personally on an iPad and have a Macbook Pro I could use.

There're multiple choices, which of whom I believe spending few bucks on is the way to go.

Download airserver to screen your ipad to mac. (free trial of 7 days)
Then download ishowuHD to record from PC. (30$ I think it was)

Don't use the airserver recorder as it'll laaaaggg.

Are these the tools guys like Jake and Hulk (Onehive vids and hulkfiles vids) are using?

I really want to be able to draw on screen while I'm recording something like they are doing.

Aren't there enough YouTube videos? I mean really?
