When I left we could upgrade walls with elixer. What happened?
You can still upgrade walls with elixir, they just raised it to level 9 walls.
This is because upgrading low-level walls with elixir was causing an economic problem within the game.
You can after skull walls, it was apparently to help th9 and 10 get elixir from th8's since they always had an abundance
Which is stupid because now we have way more than we know what to do with, I literally have nothing to spend elixir on besides my troops now. I am always a target with max storages 100% full

That's the way the game has always been and is supposed to work. They had a brief period where level 7 and 8 walls could be upgraded with elixir and the game had never been worse. I was a TH8 and I barched any base in crystal 3 that I could successfully defeat just for the league bonus. Almost every attack had less than 50k of each resource because no one had any loot. It was definitely the most terrible time to be playing CoC (and I was even TH8 so I was one of the lucky people that benefited from the walls for elixir event).Quote:

They're not going to lower the elixir-for-walls level - it caused too much of a problem for the overall economy. Things are MUCH better now that they've fixed it.
lv 8 s are easy i finished hem in a month and a half...
p.s. i dont spend my life on clash
So make a push to masters to try for the extra builder or to see how high you can get. Maybe just donate better troops to the clan well you max or even... upgrade early. :smirk:
Welcome to the game. Enjoy the extra elixir well it lasts... Th9 is all about elixir at first and you will be very happy for people like yourself.
