WHY do we get three wheel points for a gazillion wheat and only 1 for 5 bags of sugar

I do not understand why we get three points per crate for filling our neighbours's crates for massive amounts of crops like

wheat
corn
Soy beans

all of which takes very little time to grow and plus is SO EASY to find in the DD with some time to look.


and ONLY ONE
for
10 creams
5 white sugar
7-10 brown sugar
2 apple jams: the list can go on


WHERE CAN YOU FIND THIS IN THE DD?? Oh and 3 BnE gives you 2 wheel points per crate. Compared to the 1 wheel point for jam and sugar. WHAT?

I have no reason to help sugar in the first place because I can spare none if I want to run my machines, but come on, at least give those kind hearted neighbours some more reward for doing so?

In addition: I understand there is a range of points, ok.

16 bags of popcorn per crate compared to 17 seems not a huge difference but mathematically the points rewarded comes down to this:

17 per crate - THREE POINTS = 51 bags - NINE POINTS
VERSUS
16 per crate - TWO POINTS = 48 bags - SIX points.

thats only three bags more in your barn when you come across the 17 per crate boat and you get three more points. Now I GET that there must be a range and unpredictability to the amounts to keep it exciting and all...but the range is arbitrary.

I imagine that one can easily put in a larger gap, ie 12-15 popcorn is 2 points, 17-18 3 points, etc. with no crates asking for 16 or 11.

also why do you get 3 points for 2 Popsicles? And 1 for one Popsicle? WHY?

Am I the only one going crazy and OCD about this?

Your not the only crazy one, it drives me crazy too.

Sometimes I wish we can gift items to our friends because I would definitely do it for the ones that actually help out and fill up those ridiculous butter/cream/sugar crates.

Hi guys, does anyone know how the boat score (wheel points) is calculated? I filled a crate of 85 wheat for someone and got 3 points whereas a crate of 2 ice cream only got me 1 point. Is it based on the quantity ie. larger quantity = more points? If I get more points for wheat then why not since its only ready in 2 mins? I will be looking out for these crates to fill lol

I don't think it is random.

more points awarded for more wheat such as 87 (3 points) and 62 wheat gives (2 points) means someone designed it and it is graded by individual items, regardless of how long the items take to make in the game.

There is a range of amounts also determined (10-11 popcorn is one point, 12-16 popcorn is 2 points, 17-18 popcorn is 3 points) this doesn't change. That means there is a range predetermined and not random

The points take into account the individual amount of product but not the time it takes to make those products.


I think the forum is a good place to point it out and draw attention to this not so logical system of awarding wheel points. I don't understand it, it doesn't prevent me from playing, but it is also not completely random and I don't think it should be the way it is set up.

agree! i don't think its a random thing too, looks like you got it all figured out, swisspie! only thing is it really doesnt make any sense and it definitely makes people look out for the higher point/easier crates to fill. i mean, it kills few birds with a stone - higher points, faster to harvest, gives you the opportunity to make lotsa wheat so you can get the LEM stuff. why not?

Another thing for my list of "things that don't make sense in Hayday". I think I'll make a full post of that list one day. Excellent post.

Just putting it out there, but from what I've seen, no matter if it's 4, 5, or 6 bags of sugar, it's still only 1 wheel point. It seems when they updated the amount needed for the boats, they forgot to change the wheel points. I get pretty annoyed when I see that.
