Time Bug

Ok so I have a big suspicion that there is a bit of a bug going on with the time. I have heard of a time bug before which meant every time someone opened the app or came back from a battle it added around 5 seconds to builders/barracks time.

this is something different though. This morning, my air defence had 7 hours 50 minutes left, and the war had 8 hours exactly until it started, which is great as I get my new air defence just in time :D. When I come back home (I didn't play at all in between is) my air defence is at 50 minutes and my clan war has 1 hour 30 minutes to start?

This happened before with a Clan member in the last hours of the war, and his spells we're going to finish in the last 12-10 minutes. They ended up finishing with 7 seconds to spare.

First, I don't think Animal read your post...

Second, there was a maintenance break today which pauses the war timer, but allows your build time to continue running

Not a bug here....had a maintenance break this morning at that would extend the war time but have no effect on build times

Maintainence breaks can push the time a war is due to start/finish.

Unless I'm misunderstanding or your misspoke, it sounds like you're describing two separate issues.

The first issue is that you expected to have your upgrade done 10 minutes to spare. It's now going to finish with 40 minutes to spare (an extra 30 minutes). This would be a result of a maintenance break, which pauses war timers.

The second issue is that your teammate expected to have an upgrade finished with 10 minutes to spare. It ended up finishing with seconds to spare (10 fewer minutes). This would be a result of the timer bug, which extends the time needed to upgrade (and other effects) and which was described by the prior poster.

To the people who said about the 5 second glitch when you refresh/open clash of clans etc, I did mention that In the OP.

and also the maintenance break would explain it, thanks guys :)

he said he is aware of the time bug but is calling out a separate incident during which he did not load the game, yet his times were different. This cannot be answered by the time bug as it is not the result of a bug, simply a maintenance break

Yeah, i see that now, i havent had my coffee yet ok:smirk:!

it seems this bug solved....i had this problem before on th8 and th9 but now in th10 really dont occur even by long upgrades zuch as inferno lvl3 or xbow lvl3/4 i cant see any time bug....always finish exactly when must be finish.

let me get this straight. You would have only 10 minutes between completion of new air defense and war starting and when you logged on, the air defense is actually finishing sooner - (90 - 50 = 40 minutes)

so whats exactly the problem?

ive been playing for a long time and i know this time big existed but i have yet too see it affect my gaming experience. People cry over minutes wasted, im sure you could figure something to do IRL to compensate for the time discrepancy.

A staff member said previously that they won't fix the time bug and this thread will be closed shortly. Live with this bug and forget about it. This is a game nothing will affect your life lol

There was a maintenance break yesterday, and it paused the CW's timer.
