The issue wasn't that players were zapping dark elixir. The issue was all of the zap threads.

In order to end the zap threads, the next update will make storages immune to damaging spells (lightning, earthquake).

Why are u trying to make the game hard for people like th6 th7 and over. There's no point of spells then only waiting 4 spells on 1 air defence . Dum people. it should not be banned plus when the game came out it was like that. Plus people will get bored with no loot around. pLus some th7 can't even get barbarian king lvl 1 like my friend.

Guess what, every th9 and th10 was a th7 at one point, and we can all agree, you guys have it easy... I maxed th7 in one month... including the king... without zapping. The decision is final anyway.

Plus when the game came out it should've started to be banned after every one using it. In one raid u get 1000 if u use spell 1500 or more in one attack then train another and attack with your troops and repeat. There's no point of lighting spell then. no use . What u gonna train 4 just one air defence to take out that's it u rather zap with it and dark elixir with out attacking .

I agree!
I always got DE stolen from higher levels TH. When I have about 20 k Dark, they could take up to 1200-1500 dark elixirs from me! Then I'd revenge by zapping their "full" DE storage.. 3 lightning spells at level 4 only got a little less than what's available anyway.. so.. I don't think it's hurting it that much.
