punishment for leaving a clan

^^^^ This^^^^^^...is the single best protection. Hoppers do not have the patience to sit out that first war so they almost always (99 plus percent of the time) leave on that first day which gets them out of your hair without you having to do anything.

Oddly enough I don't see it. On my screen it is simply a gray square. I get the tool tip when I hover over it but I have never seen it with the + to indicate what it might do. I will have to remember that in the future. On a side note, my "Report" button is also a simple blank gray square. Go figure.

EDIT:
Now that I look closer the "Edit Post" and "Reply With Quote" buttons are also smaller than they should be. The button has gray space to the left of each phrase but ends abruptly at the edge of the last letter making them appear lopsided or truncated. Not a problem, just strange.

Once leave the clan just banned to rejoin for 1 or 2 days to join same or any others clans .
but for the good, active , loyalty to the clans should have reward like co- l , eldr, mem ,
and
more reward which make clan clanmates to stay always to the same clans ..

But that would screw up the game for everyone that isn't a hopper. It sounds like punishments are a bad idea in general because too often the wrong people will get punished, which would be worse than what hoppers do.

Also forcing people to stay would hurt a clan worse than if the hopper takes off. See Iceagea's post on page one which describes exactly what would happen.

After seeing everything it is obvious that clan leaders have to start either screening people to protect themselves or don't get upset at the consequences if they don't want to make that effort.

then posting rants about leavers here in the forum :facepalm:

also, rewards are better than punishment, rewarding the loyal is better than punishing the leaver

Best thing to do is to opt guys out for first war after they join. it is not 100% fool proof, but at least 95-99% Hopper type guys just don't have the patience to wait so they leave usually right on that first day and then they are out of your hair without you having to do anything.
