Isn't 4-6 months reasonable as the least amount of time it takes to reach lvl 10?

I was level 10 in less than a week. I was a TH3

What if quests are coming soon with an extra Price of a set amount of clan exp for each Daily/weekly/monthly quest finished by each member? Maybe 1/5/10 exp? :)

If you read the Supercell 'Our story' you will see they want a game people play for years not months. There is plenty still to come in Clash, unless empty troop slots with 'coming soon' is a red herring.

I started about a year ago and I have at least 2 years to go. Yes, veteran players will leave, eventually. But I expect the new ones to outweigh that part of the community by a big margin. Don't confuse the forum population with the world wide player base. For any developed (near maxed TH 8, beginning TH 9) player, the vast majority is far less progressed. Just look at what you attack ;)

Yeah, that's fair. I live in South Korea and in the last 6 months there's been an enormous push for CoC, every subway station has a huge ad, they have paper ads on coffee shop tables, etc etc. So there's definitely work going into pushing it further. But I still feel like the interest in the game has peaked already, and that's why they're putting so much work into keeping it going. Nothing lasts forever, and although it's still at the top I'm not sure it's going to keep growing at this point.

We'll see though, it'd be great to be wrong- I still have a long journey left, so it'd be nice to have the game stay highly active long enough to see it through.
