Isn't 4-6 months reasonable as the least amount of time it takes to reach lvl 10?

More or less 4-6 months i guess

I think its obvious that i am talking about perfect war scenarios as least amount of time (50v50 always win ofc)

Guys, I'm just trying to say that if somewhere out there, there is a clan that kept getting perfect non-stop wars then they deserve to get it around 6 months. I mean it is almost perfect/perfect.

I can understand that some people want it to take 1-2 years or maybe even 3 years to reach lvl 10 but a minimum of almost a year seems ridiculous (assuming the leaked xp rates are right, (34000 cumulative exp) it takes 295 days or almost 10 months to reach lvl 10 )

I think around 6 months should be the right minimum, that means on average there will be many ( but not too many) lvl 10 clans after a year

Thoughts?

It takes about 2 years to reach maxed TH 10 if you don't gem. TH 10 is 214 days of lab time, alone. Nobody seems to have a problem with that ...?

It takes 148 230/230xp wars to reach lvl 10 using the leaked 34.000xp statistic

you can only have 182/183 wars in a year at MAX

I doubt that 148 wars is considered barely .

Max clan is different from Max base.
Your max base will always stay with you unless you get banned or lose your phone and game center/google account.
You can easily lose a max clan by a single kick from a leader unless you are the leader.

Max clan is harder to get than a max base, I think the fact that you can't gem a clan to max also matters alot.

Yes that means clans can max just in time for the next update which could be more clan levels.(excuse the sarcasm)
Honestly no it creates longevity.

I agree with this. A max clan is very different to a max base. The clan is only a feature of the game. The base IS the game, or a very large part of it (As generally you have also maxed offense as well). I don't think that a feature should take that long compared to the whole base.

I also agree with the comparison made above bewteen a clan and a base.

I think all of you guys saying that reaching max clans takes a really long time should wait. SC obviously has something in store for this new feature and this is just the beginning of it. Dont quote me on anything but I do have a feeling that SC will add another way to earn clan XP so just... chill :cool:

I agree with you. However. There are a couple of flaws in that- notably that you've had since the game started to build that base, and if you start late you have the option of gems to catch up.

This is a feature that already maxed players will have to wait a further year to fully realise- which is really far away for a game that has probably peaked already.

Now that's the negative side- on the positive side, there is every possibility that SC is testing out new ways of getting XP, and this is just the first. Donations, trophy count upon season end, quests, there are all kinds of additional ways of getting clan XP that might be added.

But I think it's worth letting SC know collectively that there should be a way to speed it up to be safe, because yeah- by the time most of these are in effect, they will barely affect the players that worked for it. Which really is a sucky mechanic in all honesty. I'm a mid TH9 now- if I don't have a max or close to max TH10 in a year then I've either quit playing or at least lost interest.

Everyone think that 1 year is too long, check your achievements do you have all max? If yes how much time did they take?

This is a long term goal not a 1 month goal. But still if you see it too long you can get a lot by 3 month at lvl6. Hope they add more ways to get xp. I won't be sad if they did. But meanwhile I'm happy with the update as it is

While I agree with most of what you wrote, I don't think CoC is anywhere near it's peak. With the TV ads and new players joining every day ...

I started about a year ago and I have at least 2 years to go. Yes, veteran players will leave, eventually. But I expect the new ones to outweigh that part of the community by a big margin. Don't confuse the forum population with the world wide player base. For any developed (near maxed TH 8, beginning TH 9) player, the vast majority is far less progressed. Just look at what you attack ;)
