Tablet for Clash of Clans

Hey guys, I need help deciding what Tablet to get to play Clash of Clans.

I am all about getting 3 stars in wars, so I need something that works great.
My iPhone screen is way too small. I have difficulty spawning 2 fingers of hogs, and having the heal spells ready. while scrolling.

I am definitely super cheap! I live in Edmonton, Canada

My first question is, will the 7" be big enough... i figure i might need a 8-10"

Second question is the responsive time... I want a reliable tablet so when I click my heal spell, it works!

Seeing as Ipad isn't an option, I would say samsung.

But personally Apple is there way to go.

Yes 7 inch is enough. But the bigger you go more accurate your touches will be. I will go for samsung products or nexus as I have great experience with samsung for 4 years now

Couldn't agree more. Samsung > Apple

Go for 10" rather than 7"

Every inch of the display area is important to maximise it.

Yes, sounds like thats what I want.... but can I get something awesome for under $400
$200 i have no problem spending... but $400 for a game :o the wife will kill me! (no revenge available)

I don't know if they're available outside of the UK but my Hudl 2 works a charm with Clash of Clans as well as a lot of other high-end games available on Google Play. It's a pretty cheap device too. Only thing that kind of sucks is the cameras although everything else, especially the audio and visual are amazing.

depends on your fingers size.
For me samsung galaxy tab S 8.4 is the best. Not too big and not too small

let her use the 10" and she wont get mad, or just be satisfied with the 7". either way im sure youll be more satisfied than the 3" your using now.

Ipad mini 3 is a good choice just spend a bit more and lwt ur wife work with it she'll love it

go for big bro... later u may feel 7" is small lol... best option is go for samsung.. i used samsung its good to use... ... have fun

Only a sucker would buy the ipad mini 3. Get the ipad mini 2. Exact same specs hardware wise as the 3, but at a significantly lower cost! Alternately there is also the ipad mini one that can be found for around 250 new. I just got the ipad mini 2. Set me back 300 for the 16gb version.

Was on a budget and got the Dragontouch A1 from Amazon. No issues to report thus far.

I love playing it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

10.1" baby or don't bother!! LOL

My nexus 7 stopped charging (common problem, google it) and I went out yesterday and bought an ipad mini 2 for $250 at Best Buy. It was on sale, not sure if it still is or not.

I use the galaxy tab s, with multi user mode I can easily switch between my coc accounts on one device. Other than than the display is beautiful. If any of the other galaxy tablets have multi user mode, I would say any of them hands down.

Ipad Air 2 all the way, EOD.

I spent days looking at tablets which included trips to bestbuy to check them out and i started some villages in bestbuy so i could view the top players villages. One thing I learned right away is only snap dragon processors are lag free. Anything I tried with snap dragon worked flawlessly. After several days of research I had a tough choice between the Sony Xperia and the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S. The Samsung is more expensive but at 287 dpi vs 224 dpi I had to have the Samsung. I am so in love with this Tab S! I ended up replacing my iPad 2 with this Samsung which has more dots per inch than the latest Apple products and I couldnt be happier.

Save your pennies up like I did and dump the apple, you dont need an apple a day to keep the doctor away anymore

I have the samsung and unless you plan on rooting, i'd get the nexus, it runs smoother

Te Samsung tab isn't thst great IMO. My mum had it and she didn't like it at all, and the screen broke easily when my sister dropped it from no higher then her ankle...

I use use an iPad mini and it's great for CoC, so if you can get an iPad mini the. You definetly should!

if you are looking for a good cheap tablet, Get a Hudl, 2 it's only about £100 but it's great, both of my sisters have them. They also do a good range of colours.

Thanks for all the replies.... There is a Nexus 7 on local forums for $150 he says its new, second generation... seems too good to pass up and most bang for my buck... gonna check it out in 9 hours after work....

I'm gonna make sure it has the camera on the back side (to ensure its second generation)
swipe my finger around on it make sure its responsive....
And plug it into the wall to make sure the charger works....

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD CHECK FOR?


Nvivia Shield 9" new is $300 that looks like second best option if I wanted a bigger screen, will think more about it tonight.


I'm not against apple, but they are more expensive
I only really plan to do an hour a day on this machine, so not worth coughing up $500 +

3 star war attacks is why I want a bigger screen, more stuff happening at th9

I use a 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab and it works brilliantly however I've been itching to upgrade to 10".

I would seriously consider the LG G-pad 8.3. I have one that works flawlessly with CoC (and pretty much everything else). It has a beautiful and fairly large screen, and is very lightweight. It's also quite inexpensive.

Previously I had two Nexus 7's. They are very nice, but I think the LG is better.

I installed Android x86 on PC. Now I play COC in HD at full resolution. The playing experience is epic and I can type using the keyboard at fast speed. Playing with the mouse also ensures no accidental taps.

iPad is the best... But it doesnt matter much.. Any device nd the game will work just fine..... I play on my iPhone4 nd i love the GamePlay...!

That's weird. I just hold and drag, troops spawn automatically for me. No multiple clicks.

I wouldn't buy it if it isn't >90% charged. Mine slowly started going down in max charge until I could plug it in for a week and it wouldn't get above 10%. If it's down in charge, have him plug it in and come back in 2 hours. If it's fully charged, it might be a safe deal. Good luck!
