What do YOU consider Rushing?

So I just got into an argument with someone on global about how it's more productive to upgrade your townhall while you're upgrading collectors/walls.

He seemed to disagree and called me a rusher, and that its "more productive" to stay at the said townhall and just farm walls for months.

What do you guys consider rushing? And do you think it's more or less productive to upgrade your townhall when only a few upgrades are left?

I sort of made this point. I said "why waste time on walls when, in the same time frame, you can upgrade your TH, Max some troops, get your IT, and some defenses?"

But how is that rushing? If you've done 90% of the upgrades, wouldn't that be considered an above average base? Not rushed.

it's obviously depend on how you define "rushed base"

I don't especially consider walls to be the greatest issue and therefor aim to upgrade my walls to a minimum of lvl 8, then work on maxing the rest of my defenses. Once this is done, I will work on my walls, and only then.

Therefor, I think that a base which has upgraded WITHOUT upgrading defenses from that previous town hall to be rushed. As long as a base has a minimum of all lvl 7 walls in a base, and well upgraded defense, I consider it well upgraded.

To me, it's when you have a large portion of defenses more than two THs behind. In other words, people who dont max their previous TH. at the very least be two TH behind only. Those TH10 with lvl 6 walls, lvl 3 air defenses = rushed.
