In which scenario scenario can 2 lightning take out both mortars.. ?

Then yea, with 4 spells, thats quite possible.

3 might be possible if they are lv5.. i think.

The only time the bottom left wiz + mtr are both taken out, was when 3 lightning were use, I have not came across 2 lightning strike that can take them down both.

I have wanted to spend some time watching the lightning spell more closely to see if it is consistent per cast or not, but from my experience the lighting spell basically sets off a number of small strikes with a smaller radius each inside of a the larger radius as indicated by the spell area, I was planning at some point to try an plot out the various strikes so as to determine the damage per block in the spell radius.

Basically there are some areas within the strike zone which do more and less damage, also I am assuming if a bolt hits a building at all it damages it, therefor it is entirely possible that centring a spell on a 3x3 building would hit the building with all strikes placing the bolt to the left or right my result in or 2 less strikes on it.

From what I can tell there are always 6 strikes, the first is always in the middle and the subsequent ones randomly strike around the periphery, the question is are those latter 5 strikes on the same 5 places or are they randomly located, my hunch is that their order may be random but the locations set.

Was bottom left he got both mortars & wizard tower with 4 level 4 spells was shocked wen watched 1st time in months some1s got 6 digits gold of me

This is the pattern I believe the spell has...

I have applied numbers to the blocks indicating how many strikes hit each block as per the pattern.

It is entirely possible that the damage averages out to be as per the right side diagram. I am not sure how you could test this theory...

Iv still got the replay on my iPod but havent a clue how to upload videoed iv never even uploaded a picture lol

3 lightning spells Level 5 took down my mortar and wizard tower level 7. they are placed like A.

Lesson learned: do not put mortars and wiz towers in the same segment. It's a horrible design and shows weakness.... If they take out 2 of your splash towers with 2 lightning, your base loses a good 30% of its effectiveness.....
