Being able to "scout" (select buildings and view info excluding teslas and clan castles) prior to when a battle begins. This also eliminates attacking before the clock runs out so people can't accidentally place troops and trigger a battle.

Kinda useless when you know the stat of EVERY. SINGLE. THING. IN. THE. ENTIRE. GAME.
But i agree that you cant deploy troops before the 30 seconds are up. Hate deployin g a troop by accident
