I was wondering, why it does not give credit towards the achievement or in your profile for donations made to war defense?
Because now people can just get rid of the troops. If someone wanted to level up fast all they'd have to do is make two accounts, donate from one account 1 to account 2, remover the troops from account 2's castle, and repeat.
People would abuse it for levels. Its why we cant have nice things. :(
Yeah because your level does sooo much..
Should give you war exp for donating in war.
AND only count it for the first time the 35 spaces filled. If emptied wouldn't count for exp anymore.
This is the answer from Supercell support. :) http://supercell.helpshift.com/a/cla...s-achievements
Quote:
We'd like to make sure your clan mates donate Clan War troops for a single purpose: to win the War. We want Clashers to be motivated by the cause, and not for gems and achievements. We're not saying that every player would donate troops without consideration (most Clashers are loyal), but many would give away the cheapest troops available (like Goblins) simply to climb the achievement ladder.
Now that you can drop unwanted Clan War troops, this would be far too easy to exploit, especially given that, in Clan Wars, there is no cool down period between donations.
Again, most Clashers honor sportsmanlike behavior, but there are players who make the most of loopholes. We don't want fair players to feel like they're getting the raw end of the deal. We believe this to be a reasonable resolution.
I feel Donaters should get the credit once war day starts. Once it starts, then they should get a reward.
Of course this doesn't make a lot of sense. Player A donates 5 troops (the max allowed) to Player B wcc. Player B deletes Player A troops for wcc. Player A has already reached the max allowed to donate to Player B's wcc and cannot donate anymore to Player B. How does Player A abuse the system?
I imagine clans could have low level players donate first. delete troops and then have higher level players fill wcc's but this would be at most 3 times a week. If someone is looking to give max donations, they can simply float from clan to clan in global, filling random castles more efficiently.
