Brilliant queen AI turns easy 3 star into barely 1 star

Hmm.. Let's not shoot the Wizards, it's not like those are strong anyways. Walls could really hurt though! Better take it out!

At this point, I haven't noticed that the queen got rekt by wixards, and proceed to drop some hogs to take out a second ad...

I mean, 5 max hogs, under heal. Only thing in their way is an ad, nothing can go wrong, amirite?

Because the wizards were over the wall, your fault. If you used the ability after the wiz went over the wall it wouldn't have happened. That's what I deduce from the pic anyway.

Her ability doesnt change her target. She would still be shooting the wall.

Well... had the aq not shot the wall, killing the cc would be a non-issue....

Also, the ability does not change the aq target, she was shooting the wall before the ability as well.

Eh, guess that teaches me for relying on RNGesus, lol! :p

And that guy is asking if you used her ability before or after because if you waited for the wizards to shoot her BEFORE activating her ability, she would've switched targets and shot them instead of the wall. If she was already shooting at the wall and you activated her ability before the wizards hit her, of course she wouldn't change targets

Like I said, nothing to see here except someone blaming troops for his lack of skill and knowledge of how the ai works

With all due respect, know what you're talking about before you speak it. GoLaLoon is an actual war strategy, an excellent one when executed correctly.

A few key things make me believe you need to spend more time watching youtube to learn mechanics of an attack. Yes the queen ai is not great but one queen is not 46% difference, you needed to lure the war cc out

If you really want to see how the ai works train a bunch of healers and have her run through a base, you'll see her trigger skeleton traps and continue attacking whatever she was attacking instead of the skeletons, you'll also see alot of target swapping, nothing like watching a queen drop a collectors health down to half only to swith to destroy that random building that's nearby with absolutely nothing around her that could have possibly distracted ber.

It's actually a very good strategy if used right on certain bases to take out ADs and enemy AQ to be able to 3* using Hogs or loons. You must not have reached th9 yet lol..

That... didn't prove anything. The targeting indicators are for the summoned archers, not for the queen. She appears to still be banging on that wall (and if anything were to distract her, it would be that king that has clearly gone aggro on the archers she summoned). But that's incidental to, and not because of, using her ability.

You seem to be struggling, but I guess its my fault for forgetting to annotate it.
First one shows her chasing king (just like the OP) and hitting the wall to finish him off.
Next one clearly shows her using ability and you can see her targeting the archer tower and I even made it so you can see the three bolts fired, even though the wall wasn't broken yet.
Third is just to confirm that she finished off the archer tower.

Doesn't help that I missed the three bolts. Still not sure that invoking her ability changed what she was targeting though: AI with troop interaction seems to be the issue here as the king is out of aggro range in one of the pix (while to have been targeted he would have had to have been within range at some point).

At any rate.. it would sure be awesome if there were a way to control what some of the troops targeted (at least the heroes).

Of course he was in range at some point, that's why he was missing health and why the queen was hitting the wall in the first place, pics clearly show queen changing target when ability was used. Vindicating my original proposition that heroes re-evaluate target when you use ability. You cant really claim that it was coincidental, especially when everyone complaining on this thread is saying that she never stops hitting the wall no matter what.

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with that, troops shouldn't be frequently changing targets anyway. What I think should happen is that they should be able to shoot over walls if the troops can shoot them over walls, but I guess that's just another element as offense is already far more OP then defence. In the end everyone complaining about ai simply doesn't understand it as it, the only actual bug I have seen is when troops sometimes stand next to a building and shoot the building behind it but that is quite rare. AI is quite predictable, in the case of the OP and many other cases it is quite easy to give an explanation.

My AQ never met a wall she didn't want to shoot. Especially if it was in the opposite direction I had wished she would go.
