Alright, it's time to make a change.
I am creating this forum post because I have many ideas, complaints, and questions about this game that my friends and I (and many others) have been wanting to ask.
1) OK for the record, this is called Clash of the Clans, and FOR THE RECORD, you can't even clash with competing clans. What fun is that, yes? I mean I know there's a point system, and everyone has to raid some no-life village that seems like an easy target, thus generating more points. Working together, a clan can get lots of points and be rewarded with gems.
But wait! That's the only multiplayer clan-clashing you'll get to accomplish. There's no interaction with other clans that you're competing against, there's no motive or incentive to 'clash' with another clan. It's just you raiding villages picked at random, and getting points for your team.
What I'd like to see is:
- A way to attack members of another clan IF you're in a war with them
- ^ as an add-on to that, maybe a way both sides can accept some type of war request? Then both clans can take trophies and resources from each other effectively, without interference from other, miscellaneous players.
- But why?!??! If you're warring with another clan, just aim for the weak, Bronze level players! Let me remind you, we can still donate troops to each other. This addition will FINALLY introduce some kind of BETTER incentive for donating troops to others, besides going raiding. I mean, I barely ask for troop donations anymore, because I am completely self sufficient when it comes to training troops, and the only thing helpful my cohorts can really give me right now are wizards, which is something my friends don't want to take 10-20 minutes doing anyways.
- If that doesn't have you convinced, maybe if you're in a clan war with another clan, there could be a trophies limit to who you attack. i.e: You have 1000 trophies, therefore you can only attack other people in the rival clan who have 899-1199 trophies. (aka 1 league under you, and one league over)
- If you're not in any clan war with other people, then you can continue to raid random people as the game chooses with it's own programming code. The "Attack other clans" thing that I want to add is just a way, I think, that will generate AT LEAST some kind of competition between the higher-ranking clans, AND to have cool face-offs with personal revenges on other clans. (I could name a few...) again, both sides would have to accept the war invitation, and when that happens, the two clans could go at each other, taking resources by having access to directly attacking players in the rival clan.
2)Yay! Lemme go play Clash O' the Clans! La-de-da-de-da-de OK "Attack Someone nao" button. Mk, mk, waste 999 dollars finding the right person, and OH! Here's a great person! *sends in troops* *internet blinks out* "CONNECTION ERROR" Mwhahahahah re-log time. Aaaaaaaaaaaand ♥♥♥♥. The raid doesn't count, I've lost troops (effectively wasting some 5k elixir) I've lost trophies (because the battle still counts) and my whole clan has to suffer for it. You guys might be thinking "Well, just get better internet you dumb **ck." And all I'll say is, "Do you even life, bro?" Nah, but really. There hasn't been to many times this has happened, but sometimes I'll be in the middle of a really good raid, and the internet blinks out for a second or to, and I'll re-log, then it shows my village, with all it's troops gone (wasted, sadly) elixir storages drained, and a little message in the attack log telling me that I was only able to destroy 6% of _______'s village, and -18 trophies. Didn't need to see that :/.
- Not sure if there's a fix to this, or if it could possibly be abused, but please, please please, if there is some way to AT LEAST keep your troops if, say, your iPad/ipod/iphone's internet blinks out, accidently hit the home button, powers down, etc etc...
Alright, thanks for letting me waste your time, please tell me what you think, your comments, suggestions, dislike, like, or if you think this whole forum should go to hell, I don't care but at least leave me some feedback, maybe an email or to.
