Making payments on high priced items

It would be nice if payments could be made on high priced items/upgrades, say 3 mil and higher. Perhaps 500,000 or even 1 mil at a time until the item is paid in full. The item/upgrade wouldn't be able to be placed or built until it was paid in full. This would be handy instead of having to pay the full price all at once.

So like lay away at K-Mart?

Seriously, I see your point. Because then you would not have to have as large an amount of loot around your base at a given time.

2 problems to overcome...

1. If people don't have as much loot around their bases then there will not be as much loot out there to steal so raiding will break down more than it is already.
2. Guys could seriously exploit this by putting money into various different pieces as a sort of invisible bank. If you are talking about the higher priced pieces this invisible bank would have capacity many times that of your storages and really why keep any loot at all, just put a payment somewhere as soon as you have that much.

Nope. There would be no loot and we could afford EVERYTHING. no way this is happening. Good idea though.:confused:

You are essentially hiding loot like this. won't happen.

Pretty legit idea... maybe not for TH8 and earlier, but late game, TH9/TH10, stuff gets expensive. Sucks to be sitting on 1.5mil and not be able to spend it. People have to resort to leaving their walls under-level so that when they have a couple million and nothing to spend it on, they can dump it into walls. Not the most fun way to do it. I like this idea.

It would have to be substantial amounts, though. Not like, every 300k. I'd thin you'd need to have like, 1.5mil or so.

Something to keep in mind, Supercell tries to follow the K.I.S.S. principle (Keep It Simple, Silly). Any unduly complicated idea will be outright rejected.

I wish i was just sitting on 1.5 million. HA HA - unless the loot was available for stealing by destroying the building you were investing in - won't ever happen.

I disagree with this. Protecting your loot is a basic game mechanic.

Terrible idea. You're basically asking to hide your loot. If you can hide it, so can everyone else. Talk about
killing the economy.

I don't feel like it would be the equivalent of hiding loot. Any "payments" made on items/upgrades would be gold/elixir spent and you couldn't get it back.
