Need your Opinion...Level 6 Giants or Level 4 to 5 Hogs

Hi guys. so after maxing the upgrades of all the troops that i always use as a TH9 for farming and warring..
now i only left with these two, im debating which one should i go for next..
I really really want to try Level6 giants for farming since i am now farming for my Heroes on the other hand i really really want to use hybrid hogs attacks on CW since i see alot of people having a success 3starring th9 bases after bases.

Note: I dont use them at all since i left them on the last line so please no "upgrade which one you use more"

both good troops, but gaint 6 is a HUGE upgrade for them.

They gain so much hp and dps from 5 --> 6

So I think u should go with giants

Easy, Giants L6 (and Loons L6 for that matter) get a HUGE buff in upgrade stats, I am quite shocked that you did not do them earlier, they vastly improve Barch raids with as little as 8 in you mix and up to 16-20 will squash many a bases defenses on your way to their storages.

L4 hogs are decent, and L5 are very good, and can withstand one Giant-Bomb, (but not double giant bombs)

I did my giants early as they were the most economical 'bang for the buck' (Barch only get nominal buff compared to the giants/loons) and with my strategy, they tank better than barbs for my Archer assaults.
now that the Healers don't attract SAMs its even better!

i use pure barch when farming so i thought i leave giants for later.. now i see your point most of my attackers that reached 4-5 of my storages use a mix of giants and barch on their attacks. Thank you for this :)

I did giants first but I'm gonna tell you to do hogs because they are maxed and I definitely use them way more than giants!

Level 6 Giants defiantly more useful imo.

HOGS without a doubt! coming from a hardcore farmer like myself you don't need giants for efficient farming. Just look at Ash's thread he doesn't use giants either that often. BARCH is all you need for farming. Now on the other hand if you want to be able to 3 star Th9s in war you need Hogs or Lavahounds.(they fit into so many army comps) If you want to be a 2 star warrior and do Gowipe then do giants. Giants I only did cuz I had nothing else to upgrade, I hardly use them and my loot grab is still high

Hogs can 3* maxed TH9s. Giants are just for farming.

ya, ive been using barch for farming since i started playing and i currently have 108 lego walls, but i'm farming for my heroes now and i'm kinda having trouble getting the DE inside their bases using just barch.
and yes i have lavahound at level2 right now and using GOLALOONS for war.

What trophy range? I only Barch and my BK upgrading to 29 and Queen is 30. Pack some WBs?

Agreed! My heroes are getting leveled up easy using BAM with 2 wbs as well

i farm around 2100 cups for DE.. and i only have level 10 heroes, Queen will be 11 in 4hrs..
