Thanks for keeping your walls at low lvls. I will think about this thread when I'm stealing your loot. Honestly, you're going to upgrade them anyway, and loot at th8 is better anyway, so why not just finish them? (Also, this is bad for you in cw's, as it is easier to 3 star your base since your walls don't really slow down the attacker)Quote:

My clan members were all given a choice: max walls and heros before moving to th9 or get kicked. Might sound harsh, but truth is that almost all clan members are now moving to TH9 with maxed walls and heros...and no one regrets the time they lost doing it....oh...and we have been undefeated for 28 wars, doing 1 war per week...why? because most th8 attackers can't get 3* (some not even 2*!) from my clan members in CWs.
Anyway, maxing walls is the way to go at th8. I did it when i was th8 and it was the best/smartest move i did (besides buying a 5th builder ;) ) I'm currently farming lego walls with elixir and gold...and its going really fast! (not to mention that a lot of players avoid my end th9 base now) :) I would even go as far as saying that it cut down 4 months of walls farming (diminishing returns are a b**ch the higher you go on your TH level, making it harder to get resources)
So yep...do it ppl. max your walls. don't mind what other players say...you will be laughting at them once you hit th9....they will be raided/3* at clan wars while you will be earning the well deserved credits (not being 3* at CWs or farmed that often)...

I wasted almost 1-2 months of lego farming because I maxed TH7. I finished purples within 2 weeks of TH7 and spent the rest of the time farming for defenses. My gold per day plummeted from 3mil/day to 200k/per day because my builders were occupied and storages full.Quote:

you're confused...lego walls are level 9 walls (1 mill ea)...they are only available at th9, not at th7. skull walls are level 8 (that's the max level you can go at TH8. They cost 500k ea). Regarding lava walls, they are level 10 and they cost 3 mill each and they are also only available at th9.Quote:

I think he means if he had rushed his th earlier, he would've had an extra 2 months in th9 to farm for walls. If you are a legit farmer and can spend several hours a day farming every day, then by all means th rush. But you are certainly the exception and not the rule. We hear more stories about people quitting after making the mistake of th rushing than people who decide to max their bases.
The way you should look at it is as a tax. I go raid for a couple hours to fill my storages I know I am going to have to pay a 10% tax as soon as I shut the game down.
You aren't taking something I will miss and I can replace it just as quickly as it took you to take it.
The game is smarter than you are good at it.
So get off your high horse and play the game. You can come collect 300k in gold and elixir from me and I won't bat an eye. Cause as soon you fall asleep, someone will come attack you and take your loot. If you don't have loot, then you aren't even a worthy opponent. You built all that defense for nothing..
You just described me exactly. I have 3 full elixir storages outside by my Town Hall at Gold 3. Come and take it, but don't get mad when I'm a Town Hall 8 and have better walls then you.Quote:
