How to Improve War Opt In/Out

"Honestly, in my opinion SC chose a very elegant solution for this feature to have leaders have final say and to have everyone have control whether they want to be in the war or out. As various other ways would over complicate matters more then this one.

If a member makes a choice and leader changes this and a member can't change it anymore then the button would become utterly useless to normal members.
If a member can still change it you might end up in a Whois faster on the button match.

Now if there was a second set of buttons on the clan page for only (co)leaders to use whether they would be in or out we would all be looking at those buttons whenever we look at the clan page and this would get pretty messy with all the buttons already in place and this for a button a leader would only use like 3 times a week.

So having that on another page right before starting war is simple and elegant. I think it is pretty intuitive and if anything it's at least simple to learn. Start one war and you know.

if leader does not simply agree you can leave no one is gonna hold your hand about it, plenty of other clans looking for people who wants to war..plain and simple...

Having the Opt page after(?!) you tap the "Start War" button is NON-INTUITIVE because:

1) Before this update, we have all been trained like hamsters to know that once you tap that button, you're going to war. Thus, that alone is the definition of NON-INTUITIVE.
2) If it's intuitive, as the mod claims, then why have the need to make instructions for where to find it as a global sticky? 6K views in 24hrs?

Get rid of the current Opt page. Instead, include Opt/In check boxes next to every member on the clan list viewable by leaders and co's only. These checks must auto-save and is shared among leader/co's. The main benefit is, it relieves the burden for -ALL- replay or other evaluations to rest on the -ONE- person who starts the war. In other words, it allows the co-leader to do what he is designed to do: help the leader in assessing replays, and other criteria about member war performance.

The save adds convenience because it allows leaders to make member assessments incrementally when they have time. In other words, in the current Opt system, it forces -ONE- person to either save up his member assessment notes, or to do -ALL- assessments right there on the spot- and it may involve having to review tedious replays, all on the spot.

I think it's common sense that if any player doesn't want to join the next war, then nothing should be able to override it. But if a leader Opts out a member because of bad war performance, then the member must sit out.

TOP 3 WORST THINGS ABOUT COC
1) Searching for a base to loot is tedious (and silly)
2) Searching for a base to revenge is tedious (and clumsy)
3) Assessing 49 members and all their painful replays, with no coffee breaks or anyone else to help- to start a war

Don't make #3 a reality.
