As a few figured out, it took approximately 0 gems. (well, that might be not entirely true. I'm usually boosting heroes & spell factory - not barracks, I'm barching -, so maybe a couple hundred were used during that farming time).

Ahah, my AD are in the center of my base, just positioned them like that for the picture.
So far, one defense and just a TH snipe for 1 trophy. So far so good !

I would personally drop a few loons there in order to destroy all AD and then start raiding the base for real.

Er but any sensible person will just destroy the TH and all the AD with their heroes and then wipe the rest of the base with their lavaloons.

i have done exactly the same with my air defence and havnt been air raided once. i get gowipe etc but no air? this is madness? yet with all 4 working i get looned to death. what is this sorcery lol? admittidly im not a formidable champion but im packing max storage raids and only th9 so practically nothing to fend off air with. perhaps the audacious upgrading pattern spooks attackers or they all have consciouses and wont kick a guy when hes down. still funny nonetheless 😂

not fun. not fun at all. I would keep AD in base so the hounds are targeted by other defenses BEFORE AD go down. Leaving them outside base means attacker just needs to take them out with one heroes then send hound in then loons and youre done. Lets face it you are prob done anyway but lets not just give it to them.

Honestly, i did it as a th8 and doing it now as a th9. Air attacks in gold league through crystal are rare. The only time you will be air attacked is through revenge. (Only if youre stacked on loot though)Happened to me. Lol #Rekt
