Dragons are insanely overpowered

i would say suck it up, that player using dragons is losing out big time in clan war, he wont be making any profit from using dragons, and th7 is not really that good, you dont hear any th3 complaining about all hog attacks. you are a low level, you will eventually get strong enough to beat them off, keep plugging away at it

When I was at TH7 in wars it was very hard to defend against a mass dragon attack. However the amount of elixir used to create such an army was more than the war loot bonus for winning the attack. Spread out your base and shield the air defenses near your town hall with storage's. Spreading out the base will take the swarm of dragons in several different directions hopefully leaving one or two dragons to get hung up on storage's while your air defense shoots them down one by one. Allowing multiple dragons to overrun your defense will result in a 3 star every time.

Remember, dragons are slow and very dumb. Their A.I.s can be easily manipulated and distracted by the arrangement of your base design. Just make sure you don't leave it open to a giant/healer attack.

I lol'd so hard at this. I'm a TH8 and wasn't "raped" with dragons since forever. By level 3 dragons which is TH8 tho.

I honestly don't have a problem with level 2 dragons being overpowered. They are the mainstay of early TH8 attacks (since your first upgrades will likely be archers, barbs, and balloons before dragons, so it'll be a month at TH8 before you have level 3 dragons).

Level 3 are fine, and level 4 need a buff and should be given at TH9, and we need a new level 5 dragon at TH10. Add it all together, and we're not talking about nerfing an overpowered troops anymore. We're talking about rebalancing dragons in general.

I agree that level 1 dragons might need a slightly lower DPS. In fact I think that's also valid for dragons level 2.
Dragons level 3 are fine. A well designed layout and 3 ADs level 6 should stop any TH 8 from getting more than 1-2 stars.

I also agree that dragons level 4 need to be available at TH9 (as much as I would like to have pekka level 4 at TH9). TH10 should have dragons level 5.

In TH7,they are OP.In TH8,you still have a chance.As a TH8 my only chance is that I have max level wizards in my war cc and hope that the enemy player will drop all of his drags in one spot so that the wizards can make short work on them.Otherwise,I am 3 starred.

Cause you're playing against noobs. Back at th8 in 8 weeks I got 96 war stars. We had war 2 times a week. 10 dragons + 5 hogs/5loons.

If you're maxed except for one Tesla then just move to th8 and get all your AD to level 6

Let me just sum up everyone's thoughts.
1. Go to townhall 8 and stop complaining
2. THIS IS THE IFR NOT LETS COMPLAIN FORUMS
3. Only over powered because you clearly lost a war so stop.
4. Try drags at townhall 9. Let me know how it goes.

Show us your base. I bet you have a tight base, probably with archer towers near the outside, ADs too close together unless actually on the outside (you don't sound that silly)? Try creating an outer ring of non-defensive buildings only just in range of the archer towers, trying to trick the dragons into wandering around outside.

In our clan, some of us dragon lovers enjoy picking out the air assault vulnerable bases an annihilating them. It is more about base design than base level.
