Too much elixir on hdv 8, need to use it on walls

Comparing to gold upgrades, there are way too little upgrades using elixir for th8 users.
Halfway through maxing it, you happen to be full elixir and need to wait a minimum of 5 days for using around 2 000 000 on a laboratory upgrade.

You can see that almost everyone is in this situation when you're looking for a target, the only way out would be to rush th9 for not wasting your elixir but it's quite frustrating when you wanted to max your th8 before.

So please, could you consider giving back the wall upgrade using elixir for th8 players?

Suggested many times. No. Neer. Will ruin the economy.

However, it tends to underscore a flaw in the game, a disparity between th8 and 9 whre one has too much elixir whereas the other needs it badly.

Right now, the situation just indicates th8 users to rush th9 when they're done with their elixir upgrades,when every player will realise that, it will ruin the economy in the same way...

Rather than deteriorating the fun for th8 players, why not give them a little something, a simple gesture for using their elixir, if not walls, maybe level 7 army camps?

Yeah it's really bad for the economy I don't think you will see this again

You are missing two key points which caused the problem when lix4walls was possible. First, the only purpose of CoC is to attack others and take what they have. Period. End of discussion. You can play it other ways but in the end if everybody could protect all their loot the game would be a slower form of Farmville an dead as we know it. If TH8-9 are able to sink all of their elixir into walls (keeping themselves below 500k in storage) overnight we have nobody to attack . . . = game broken like it was Q4 of last year. Gameplay ended at TH8.

The second point is that TH8 (was TH7 until the recent patch introduced lvl 12 collectors) is where loot production ends. As you stated, TH9 needs those huge amounts of elixir and TH10 even more . . . but they produce the exact same amount as TH8 . . . who doesn't need as much as they can acquire. See what SC has done here??? TH9-10 are dependent on the surplus of elixir damned up at TH8. Not saying it is right or wrong, but as the game exists today TH9-10 game play doesn't exist without it. Unless you consider, "Who can tap next and waste gold the fastest" worthwhile game play. I didn't enjoy it much myself.

Anyway, those are the two primary dynamics that are tough to see from TH7-8 looking up that make the game possible at TH9-10. Just realize that no matter how much you wish lix4walls was possible for you now, you would hate it that much more once you upgrade your TH. Good for a few can be very bad for the game.

Thanks for your answer iceageg, i did realize these two points in my previous answer, thats why I proposed to add level 7 army camps for th8 players instead of wall elixir upgrades, it will help them a little and not affect much the game dynamics for th9 and 10 players.

We're dangerously heading towards rushed th9 after completing th8 elixir upgrades which is actually the only way for th8 users for not wasting their elixir. I know thats what I'll do even if I depsise rushed th but I despise even more wasting my ressources. Sadly, i'm pretty sure that's what will happen in the next months.

It will affect clan wars (which is the true purpose of the game for me...) as well because clans tends to prefer having a max th rather than a higher rushed one.
So let's forget the walls and consider a compromise,army camps level 7?

One commonly suggested solution that I also support is to allow the use of elixir for all levels of wall, but add a minimum storage requirement. That is, you must have a minimum of say 3mill elixir in your storages before you can spend any on a wall. Drop below that and it is gold only again. This serves to maintain the number of viable targets to raid but also allows for the use of "excess" elixir that would otherwise disappear into electron dust.

As I can understand why you wouldn't want to waste elixir, I propose that with all the elixir you have on your base you use it to farm dark elixir. Mainly because a level 10 king and golems can make a gowipe almost unstoppable against another town hall 8 in wars. Of course, If you have already done all your DE upgrades, including valks, disregard my suggestion.

I think its the best option
th9 can kill th8 easily and can dump resouces as much as we can
and have 4 camp is not help its about under 20 mil elixir
its much profit to come as th9'and dump excess to lv9 wall
th9 is sweet spot for now
its gradually make replace th8(in old times th8 is sweet as cake)
and remember dont rush to th10 its hell there maxxed everything there and possibly finished all lava as same time as your builder finish upgrading all biulding if your builder finish first then you should going to th10
or wasted tIme by have free builder
to make it simple th9 is about maxxed every building while going wall and hero and trying to not have free builder
