My friend and I are debating on what is better to upgrade to level 6 first. He think barbs are because they get a higher increase to damage and health, but I think archers first because even though its less of a damage upgrade the fact that they have longer attack range makes the less amount of damage come out on top. What do you all think?
My upgrade sequence : Giant => Barbs=> Balloon => Arc
Barbs > archers
When I was TH9, my upgrade sequence:
archer -> barbs -> balloons -> giants ...
I prefer stronger archer to shoot over walls. Barbs L5 still can tank for archers fine.
TH10, I do opposite. Upgrade barb L7 first. 400 elixir per archer L7 is expensive, when an early TH10 need to farm a lot of elixir for army camp, spell, lab upgrade, 3rd DE drill 6 levels, and researches.
I vote goes to barbs since my archers are still at lvl5 and I'm barching pretty well from gold 2 to Crystal 2.
Loons 6 w/o a doubt. Then do all ur war troops. I farmed almost all of my th9 w lvl 5 barch or lvl 6 loonion
I upgraded archer first because it's the better troop to donate.
I started with barbs, mainly due to increased stats for Barb are much greater and barbs can resist a few more shoots from mortars or WT.
Archers will come later, they are handy to donate and every single DPS helps, but for me barbs was a better option to start.
