Town Hall 8 Valkyrie Upgrade?

Hello, I have a TH 8, level 79, and I have level 3 pekkas and level 3 hogs already, but I am wondering about upgrading my Valkyries to level 2. They are beast in clan castles, but can I get consistent results attacking, and a solid 3 stars in war against a TH8/9? I am looking for something to get more than my usual 1-2 stars when I use GoWiPe.

It would be up to you if you want to upgrade valkyrie but if your looking for a consistent 3 star in war when you hit th9 you might not be using them because of lavaloonion.
