Any ideas? I'm a nearly maxed TH8 and got hit by an ok TH7. He took about 5k of each in loot. So I hit the revenge button with my usual 200 member barch crew. It said I would win 45 trophies and lose 9. How is that? I'm a higher TH with a much stronger army than he can muster. So why do I get the possibility of so many trophies on this attack? Has the algorithm been published for how it is calculated?
It's based completely on trophy count. For example, in your instance, he most likely a much higher trophy count than you, which is why more trophies are available to be stolen. If you were closer in trophy counts, there'd be less available trophies for you. It has nothing to do with TH. A TH 10 could steal as many trophies from a TH 4 as a TH10 can steal from a TH 10.
Thanks. I just took 49 from him. He is now at 1778 and I'm at 1671. So doing a little math says that before my attack he was at 1827 and I was at 1622. More than a 200 trophy difference. Ok, that makes sense to me.
